it's really a matter of budget, all the cars mentioned have a price tag of 1.4M and below. The Sta Fe is 1.5M+... thanks

well, apparently, this was never going to be an apples to apples comparo. hehehe! anyhow, so it's Tucson, Rav4 and Carnival now? the comparo just got more complicated, with a minivan thrown into the mix, all trying to replace a Civic. ang saya!
hehehe! hmmm... if i were to choose, i'd probably go with the Rav4. you get the room for 5 plus space for cargo all in a toyota package. if you wanted a diesel, with perhaps more room, and/or a 7 seater option, get the Carnival.

Tucson, medyo malayo sa category pero improved na rin ang Korean mades ngayon pero they still have much to catch up with the Japanese brands.

Well... in the case... get the Rav4! The interior alone is worth the premium price. But at this price range, I'd also take a look at the Outlander GLS 2.4 AWD. It has more kit than the Rav4 (kick arse ICE, AWD, etc.) and is a better buy IMO.
The Tucson is a decent enough vehicle for its price.
The Carnival is ok too.
