If you were to choose between the 2, which would it be? Some details:
Toyota 86 specs: Toyota GT 86 specifications and technical data | Tune86 - Toyota 86 news (GT 86, Subaru BRZ, Scion FR-S)
Hyundai GC 2.0T specs: Hyundai Philippines Hyundai GENESIS COUPE Specifications Pages
Photos of both cars in action from C! Magazine's FB album: https://www.facebook.com/#!/media/se...2051938&type=3. Note: you need an FB account to access.
Too bad C magazine doesn't have an online version of their July review.

If you want a cruiser, the Genesis should be better... and the extra midrange grunt from the turbo will make it more fun on the highway.., but it's a fair bet the 86 is more involving to drive when the road gets twisty.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Between the two, I'd get the 86 for its novelty. But if I really did have the cash for a car like this, I'd rather go the full monty and get the Genesis Coupe 3.8 V6.
Or restore a Nissan R32 GT-R.

June 29th, 2012 09:14 PM #10I like the 86, but you just can't deny the practicality and value for money of the GC.
I doesn't help that if you want an 86 you might have to wait for a year.
