The Altis is also a good alternative. The downside is malapit na yata ang all-new model. I think late this year na.

how about the new honda city 1.5 vtec? ganda na ng bagong itsura nya. parang maliit na civic pero malakas ang engine pero matipid sa fuel consumption. pwede pa ma fold yung rear seat nya .

mcbry's right. Kung Vios lang, why not consider the City or the Jazz. Mas sulit for the money.

Vios ka na lang but if you still want an Optra then join the Chevy club philippines.

makaibang market kasi ang vios at optra.
magdecide ka na lang muna kung ano talaga ang gusto mo.
it depends on what are you really looking for.... space, power, fuel economy, budget.

wala kasing sasakyan na papasok lahat ang preferences ng buyer.

not worth it yung Optra. Resale value is bad, plus gas consumption is equal to an SUV. I get around 7km/L in my Optra LS A/T but that with economical city driving.
get the Vios, mas tipid sa gas, space is tight but i don't think you need to much space since you said you already have an Escape.
Look at the jazz too or wait for the new civic pero am not sure if it will fit your budget.

I got my Altis J for P714,500 including 1 yr insurance (free) and LTO registration na. It has driver's side SRS airbag, in-dash CD player, and drives like a charm, tipid din naman sa gas. My gf's altis is 4 years old na pero still drives and rides good. Check with your toyota dealer kung tapos na ung promo ng free insurance. Otherwise, it's the best bang for your buck.

Time to replace... 1.5G Vios or 1.6L Optra?
