IMO small cars are not really weekend cars. Baka vans/SUV kailangan mo, lol!

Kung first car mo, mag Yaris ka na. Mas maganda ang interior at mas maluwag ang space sa loob.

Mas maganda lang talaga ang porma ng body ng swift. And I think ayun lang ang advantage ng swift over yaris.

Yaris nalang para malawak ang dealer network at hindi mahal ang parts. Yun nga lang sabi ng iba hindi daw ganun ka tipid sa gas ang Yaris para sa isang subcompact. Kahit papano, the Jazz is still the better choice and is worth every penny.

Hehe. as much as i wanted to have SUV/vans, can't afford yun. hehe...

So mukhang pumapaling na sa yaris ang desisyon ng nakakrarami ah...
1 more month to go and i will buy na. feb kasi target month ko eh. bago mag VALENTINES DAY. hahahaha....

May promo ba ngayon ang yaris? Thanks.

i'd go for the swift(my mum drives one). it has better handling, very responsive engine and good brakes. what's also handy about the swift is the FC indicator(not sure about the yaris).

my opinion about the yaris: chances are, people will mistake it for a vios on the front end. thus exterior is already a major selling point for the swift(which also comes in awesome paint jobs). once you've ridden it, you'll be satisfied and will turn heads.
Damn, son! Where'd you find this?

My friend and i recently got one Automatic (ako yaris, cya swift)

    Fuel Consumption (Relax City Driving)
    Yaris : 11KM/ LITER
    Swift: 8.5KM/LITER

    Interior Space
Yaris hands down. Impossible to sit at the back of the Swift

    Driving Pleasure (Handling)
Swift, the steering of the Yaris is too light

    After Sales Service and Parts
    Swift= Forver Casa

    Durability
Yaris= Toyota is more reliable, we still don't know if Suzuki small cars are as strong as they're big cars

    Re-sale Value
Yaris: You can get cheap 2nd hand 2007 Swifts

    Design
Swift design is due for change soon. Yaris not yet

Since this is your first car, it will be better if you get the trusted Toyota brand for less headaches and better fuel efficiency. Pang date mo nalang ung gas savings

Hmmmm... Ganun pala... napapa-isip na lalo ako...

    Ano mas pipiliin nyo.

Yaris with 50K discount and freebies

    or

Swift with free LTO and insurance, then yung sinasabi nilang 20,000 Kms/ years which ever comes first, free service parts and labor.

    Alin ang mas panalo?

SUV/vans as weekend cars are good as they're made for comfort. yun lang nga, comfort has its price. a subcompact is always a good 1st car.

so ano na yung running count? in the end, i'm pretty sure mas marami will say that the yaris is the better buy, all factors considered.

btw, if you want to have it by feb14, better make the by start of feb.

the swift looks better imho. being "boxy" is its style, sure suzuki may opt for other designs but it's what separates the swift from other cars of its class
Damn, son! Where'd you find this?

    Guys,

I made a decision already, and i will go with....
    ...
    ...
    ...
    ...
    ...

    TOYOTA YARIS...

Nagpareserve na ako kahapon and hopefully, by the first week of feb, makukuha ko na yun...
I will go for the red one.
Laki kasi ng discount ng yaris. 50K. Tapos sabi ng SA ko. Free na din daw yung rain gutter, if not yung back up sensor... Isn't good? hehehe

Ang laki ng price difference nila.
663K nalang ang yaris with a lot of freebies while the jazz is 707k and if i heard it right, there will be a 5k increase of the price of jazz. so that will be 712k. Tapos 1.3 engine sa jazz vs. 1.5 sa yaris.

Just saw the updated price of jazz here http://www.auto-searchphilippines.co...PriceList.html

    712K na nga...
