early MB100 were noisy in high RPMs at lower gears.

labors in repairs are more expensive because of the tight and difficult engine lay out. its front driver. cool AC, very comfy seats. local CMCs has no standard stereo, rotary knobs for climate controls and has fewer seat adjustment compared with imported Istanas which comes with push button climate control and standard CD player. it also has more seat config and adjustments.

the Starex has an availability of AT. turbo, NA, SWB or LWB versions. smaller inside, but drives like a car. later CRDi version accelerates quite quickly. even in AT variant. early starexes came with LSD, some with driver's airbag and ABS. some can even be had with dual sunroof and some host of other cool features.

in the end, id get the starex cos i hate fridge type vans. katakot pa pag sa collision, there's no hood to absorb the impact.

I need a big space, ill go for the MB. it really depends on the users need.
