looks like the yaris is more bang for the buck sa special discount nya. malaking tipid na yun, di ba on tight budget ka. ganda nung breakdown ni tidus - actual talaga, hindi hearsay.
although if you can still save a bit more, jazz is a very good choice also. more spacious and newer model than yaris.
bottomline: if budget is priority = yaris. if space and porma and fuel consumption na rin ang priority = jazz.
whatever you ( i mean your wife) chooses, both cars are panalo! hindi ka magsisisi. unlike aveo, buti nagtanong ka muna sa forum.

meron kasi nag advice kay misis na mas matipid daw yung 1.3 ng Jazz compare sa 1.5 ng YARIS.
yung makukuha daw namin na discount sa YARIS eh makukuha naman daw namin from saving fuel using 1.3 JAZZ dahil di daw matakaw sa fuel because of its smaller engine.

As for 1.3L vs 1.5L it depends. I think the relevant number to look at is power to weight ratio. 1.3L ka nga pero mabigat yung car then it will burn more fuel than a 1.5L on a lighter car.

I doubt any fuel savings of the 1.3 Jazz against the 1.5 Yaris can compensate the price difference even in 10 years of use Because to be honest minimal lang difference ng FC ng dalawa at best.

naku madami ka talagang matututunan dito sa tsikot and other forums of your interest talaga. kasi first hand infos from car owners ang makukuha mo pero meron ding hearsays. ikaw na bahalang mag filter ng infos.
korek nga yung sa fuel savings mo na makukuha sa jazz. i like the jazz' interior also din compared to the yaris'.

the Aveo is a Daewoo from GM

unlike Kia and Hyundai that have excellent build quality,

Daewoo still lags in this department, and GM for that matter, a GM even in the US cannot compare to a Honda unless it's a full sized SUV

also i know of a bad experience from a recent and VERY ANGRY GM (Optra) owner
