Planning to replace my aging Honda City with the following:

    1. Changan CS55
    2. GAC GS3 Emzoom
    3. Toyota Yaris Cross
    4. 2019 Hyundai Sta Fe

    Considerations:
    - 1-3 passenger(s) most of the time (though I sometimes bring my parents with me on my out-of-town trips)
    - provincial trips 2x a year (Benguet)
    - owns a Sportage CRDI
    - Budget is 1.3M

Which car would you recommend? I'm open to other suggestions.

    Thanks!
if his reason for replacement is "para iba naman",
that there really is nothing wrong with the current car and its maintenance,
then i begin to question the motive for replacement.

    the keyword is "aging"

"aging" means my car is having or is going to have problems and I don't wanna deal with it so I'm just gonna sell it

Yes tama po. though I never had any problems with this car kaso lately naglalabasan na yung sira and kalampag.

Napapaisip ako, is it still worth it to spend like 50K for general repairs or pay 20-25k for 3-5years for a bnew car.

Kung ako, kung normal wear and tear repair at hindi pahirapan ang parts, tapos okay pa ang general condition, doon ako sa repair.

If kalampag, baka stabilizer link lang need replace which only cost around Php500 for generic brand or if you want orig parts, nasa 2k+ ata.
If vibration, engine support usually sira and will cause you 8-10k including labor and parts.

If safety pag-uusapan and ang replacement car na plan mo has more safety features, then go for brand new nalang if may pera naman.

But if alanganin ka magpalabas ng pera ngayon, worth it pa rin i fix yan since mga consumable parts naman yung cause ng kalampag sa car mo.
Worth it pa rin i fix if second car mo to.

But if this is your only car for everyday use, I understand your feeling na mas maganda pa rin driving experience if brand new car everyday use mo.
