Yes tama po. though I never had any problems with this car kaso lately naglalabasan na yung sira and kalampag.

Napapaisip ako, is it still worth it to spend like 50K for general repairs or pay 20-25k for 3-5years for a bnew car.

with those in mind... yeah I have to go with the others here, Yaris Cross gets my vote in this case.
Yes correct. I prefer a crossover kas mas mataas sya compared sa sedan.

    the toyota, of course.
for all the advantages, real or imagined.

personally, i'm still not sold on the china cars' local longevity and maintenance program.
reygan in youtube has good words for china cars in general, the changan cs35 in particular. will it rub off on the 55?
then there's the geely horror story from an unhappy costumer...
but even the japanese like toyota, mitsu and honda, have their share of horror stories.
i guess, it's how the manufacturers deal with these maintenance and brakedown issues, that's important in the long run.
I like the cs35 except for those red leather seats
My sister owns an Azkarra and so far she's satisfied with the aftersales kaya i'm also considering the GCR . If only the 4-cylinder is available here then GCR na.

If kalampag, baka stabilizer link lang need replace which only cost around Php500 for generic brand or if you want orig parts, nasa 2k+ ata.
If vibration, engine support usually sira and will cause you 8-10k including labor and parts.

If safety pag-uusapan and ang replacement car na plan mo has more safety features, then go for brand new nalang if may pera naman.

But if alanganin ka magpalabas ng pera ngayon, worth it pa rin i fix yan since mga consumable parts naman yung cause ng kalampag sa car mo.
Worth it pa rin i fix if second car mo to.

But if this is your only car for everyday use, I understand your feeling na mas maganda pa rin driving experience if brand new car everyday use mo.

Planning to replace my aging Honda City with the following:

    1. Changan CS55
    2. GAC GS3 Emzoom
    3. Toyota Yaris Cross
    4. 2019 Hyundai Sta Fe

    Considerations:
    - 1-3 passenger(s) most of the time (though I sometimes bring my parents with me on my out-of-town trips)
    - provincial trips 2x a year (Benguet)
    - owns a Sportage CRDI
    - Budget is 1.3M

Which car would you recommend? I'm open to other suggestions.

    Thanks!
Also, the list seems include 2019 Sta Fe.
Second hand ba to na unit?

This has been my dream car though I couldn't afford a bnew one for now (approx 2.5M). I saw one with 30K mileage selling for 900k. what do you think?

I owned one but I bought brand new.
This is the most underrated car here in tsikot in my opinion.

I owned two Hyundai's already, one was 2009 Tucson and this one 2020 Sta. Fe.
Medyo low quality build yung 2009 Tucson.
But build of Sta. Fe is different, it's really premium compare to Tucson.
Yung mga materials at craftmanship ng assembly is superb.
Even until now, wala pa akong naobserve na rattle noise sa unit ko.

Superb din yung sound insulation, di mo marinig yung conversation sa labas if nakaclose yung doors.

Tech is also more advanced and even better than Yaris Cross, although ADAS ng Yaris Cross is more advance.
Fe PH unit.
The 360 camera quality is even better and clearer.

If 900k current price ng nakita mo, make sure lang na hindi galing sa baha.
Also, there are two variants, the TOTL and the mid variant, yung may handbrake niya is footbrake.
If TOTL tong 900k, then this is a good buy already, but I think baka mid variant to.

Need mo lang ma check if working lahat features.
Features such as auto tailgate, cruise control (not auto), 360 camera, front/back sensor, dual climate AC, Front and Rear AC controls, Speed Sensing auto lock.
My unit's speed sensing auto lock experienced failure 1 yr ago but since under warranty pa, ni replace naman ng CASA. at OK na ngayon.
Yung automatic lumbar support din is di gumana when CASA fixed the speed sensing auto lock.

Other than that, I didn't experience engine failure or underchassis failure yet.
Aircon is also OK naman, wala pang issue.
I know kahinaan talaga ng Hyundai tong AC issue based on feedback sa 2016 -2019 Tucson units.
But I didn't experience that in my Santa Fe.

Parang yung switch ng side mirror control are medyo maluwag.
Fe.
