Nissan Grandeur was the topline model of the first N16's.
Sunny is the Sentra's JDM (home market) name.

May 17th, 2006 10:30 PM #23Thanks a lot mga guru’s, I was enlighten so much regarding this query of mine.
SS – Super Saloon
SE - Sport Edition
ST - Sporting Trim
tama po ba ang mga ito?

The "Sunny" name is used in Japan and a few other markets.
All the RP market Sentras until the B14 models were rebadged JDM Nissan Sunny sedans.
While all USDM Sentras until the B15 models were based on the JDM Sunny sedans.
The N-models were usually the more stylish equivalent of the B-models.
The Pulsar hatchback and coupe(in some export markets later models were rebadged as Sunnys and Almeras) and JDM Bluebird Sylphy(aka ASEAN Sentra/ Sentra Exalta) are some popular N-models.
When the B15 Sentra came out Nissan decided to to base the ASEAN Sentra on the more stylish N16 Bluebird Sylphy/Almera, while the USDM Sentra continued with the "B-model" platforms
JDM Sunny = B10, B210, B310, B11, B12, B13, B14, B15
USDM Sentra = B11, B12, B13, B14, B15
JDM Pulsar = N10, N12, N13, N14, N15
JDM Bluebird Sylphy = N16
RP Sentra = B12, B13, B14, N16
*in the US the B210 Sunny was called the Datsun B-210 and B310 Sunny was called the Datsun B210, the N10 Pulsar was called Datsun B310.Last edited by AG4; May 17th, 2006 at 11:30 PM.
