camry.. accord.. crown.. most cadillacs.. the big MBs.. the big sedans.
If it's compacts, the new Corolla is the best... followed by the Impreza/Focus/Mazda3. The Civic rides like a rock. The i30 is also pretty soft... but there's just something about the Corolla... it can swallow bumps and potholes, but doesn't go bouncing out of control after hitting a big bump. If the steering weren't complete crud and the interior were better, I'd get one.
If it's compact crossovers, the Ford Escpae / Mazda Tribute twins are pretty good... the Outlander and Forester are also good. The CR-V... midpack... if we're talking the 2.0 CR-V, back of the class... lumpy... Haven't tried the CX7 yet or the new Tuc. The old Tuc and Sportage are a bit truck-ish, but more comfortable than the CR-V. The RAV4 is decent, but not outstanding.
Midsizers... the Accord is the best, hands-down.
Midsize crossovers and SUVs, Santa Fe... followed by the Montero. The new Sorento should be similar to the Santa Fe.
For Midsizers over 2m... the Explorer is most comfortable... the CX9 and Pajero are kind of stiff... the Veracruz kind of bouncy... though of all of them, I'm most particular to the CX9, because it's stiff but not harsh... sort of like a BMW without the stupid runflats.

Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
Hmmm... as for the steering of the Altis, I both love it and hate it. I love it because it makes the car easier to drive. It's also surprisingly stable in the highway (it didn't move a bit when i tried to remove my hands from the wheel, although an accidental nudge onto it might make the car uncontrollable). I hate it because it can get too loose-feeling at times, and that it makes funny sounds when being turned fully (said to be caused by the EPS motor as per the owner's manual).
Aside from that, it's really comfy. The seats are a little stiff, but offer good support. The ride quality is good, although there might be times you won't feel much the road, especially the smooth ones, because of the soft suspension. Space is ample, and the aircon is more than cold enough.
the best i had so far is a jaguar... hindi akin ito ha? sinundo lang ako... hehehehehe.
a driven car, an altis...
a CUV, a RAV4.
Hmm, I like a stiffer ride from time to time (yes, really) so the Civic is alright for me.
Back on topic, for comfortable rides SUV type: Ford Explorer E.Bauer and Hyundai Santa Fe. If I'd ridden in Mercs, Jags or Lexi, I'm sure they'd be on my list, too.![]()
