my opinion is it depends on the conditions of two cars, if they're both no problem ill go for GSR. I like honda a lot but if i have to choose ill go for 96-99 civic.. usually the price is ranges from 200-280K.

get the GSR, mas maporma sya. yung 100k na natipid mo dun sa previous budget mo, gamitin mo pang gas ng GSR. lagi mo kakailanganin.

Dapat magtabi ka ng certain amount for these at kung maari, para dun lang at huwag mong dukutin para sa ibang gastusin. Pag kinakapos, pwede namang magcommute muna uli he he he.

Don't forget to set aside an additional amount for the annual registration, driver's license renewal (every three years) and most importantly, annual vehicle insurance.
At pag minalas-malas ka pa, kelangan mo din ng pera pantubos ng lisensiya, for when you're unlucky enough to be slapped with a traffic violation. :DLast edited by Bogeyman; January 28th, 2008 at 09:14 PM.

If your looking for porma bro.. get the gsr rather than a eg hatch, besides a hatch is quite old na ren bro compared with a gsr.
but if your looking for a daily driver that is beyond "porma", I suggest try looking for a 96/97 vti civic. Di pa ren kasi advance ang engine ng gsr lancer. it still has the cyclone engine of the 94 glxi, reincarnated in a 2 door. While the vti civic already has the vtec, the gsr is not yet mivec equipt.

among your choices, i would go for the GSR. why?
a) the hatch is a bit too old
b) interior space, although the hatch has 4 doors, i think, mas malaki ang GSR. the hatch is a subcompact, compared to the GSR which is a compact
c) the GSR looks fogee. coupled with the right setup, i am sure you will keep this car, for long term, imho... just imagine, putting in a 15 or 16 inch rims, lower it, or put some body kits.... wafoo.
d) on the power issue, the GSR i think has normal power compared to other coupes. for city driving ubra na.
e) i think that the GSR has a newer "technology" engine.
Where in throttle body is the adjustment the bizscew or on fix SAS
high idle RPM at engine start
