For me I would like to get this MS if 4X2 will be available early next year or I will just get a smaller SUV like TUCSON 4X2 diesel instead. Actually we have 2005 1.3MT Hyundai Getz so far no headache naman satisfied with its performance and FC

November 17th, 2008 08:55 PM #153Dati kase, sinosolo ng mga Japanese ang technology from engine design to micro electronics. Noong natuto din ang mga Koreans humabol. The Chinese are even catching up. They are perfecting the art of manufacturing. Once they allocate huge budget on R&D, the chinese would be a formidable foe to reckon with.

^^By the way the Fortuner is made in Thailand, so its not really a Japanese car just a Japanese brand pasted on its body. The reality is these car makers are now global, so it does not mean that if you buy a Japanese brand you are really getting a Japanese designed and manufactured car.
As for Korean cars, I would have said that 10 years ago and I would say that now to Chinese cars. But times have changed. The Koreans are now serious contenders for global auto supremacy. Hyundai is the 5th largest automaker behind GM, Toyota, VW, and Ford. And it looks like they will overtake Ford very soon. You don't get that big if you sell trash.

Well its up to you sir. So in essence I go buy a shoe in 168 stitch a Nike check logo and now I can sell it as a true Nike because I have the brand logo there. Basta ako I buy the car and not the brand. By the way the Fortuner is not exactly reliable either, it has the D4D (Driven 4 Destruction as some people call it) choking problem. The back smoke problem. And the matagtag problem.
