Can't go wrong with both choices either.

Nope. At best, they're the same in terms of performance... but the Jazz is probably slightly faster.
Extra torque at initial tip-in gets you off from a stop faster, but what determines how fast your car can accelerate is horsepower throughout the range.
As an example, our Crosswind responds more immediately when you step on the pedal from a stop than the CR-V. But there's no way in hell that you'd ever consider a Crosswind as "fast"... ...the moment you're over 5 km/h, the CR-V leaves it eating dust.
When I say the Toyota engine has extra torque down low, that just means it's a bit easier to drive at low speeds... but at higher speeds, the Honda engine is better.
