I dont own the vehicle lol) pero sa Santa Fe ko with the same route, maririnig ko kalampag sa harap bec. my SF is a crossover. so I'm thinking the Sorento will be the same in those roads since they're sisters.
yun nga, though wala pa naman ako naririnig na kalampag * 26000kms, para sa pamalit nung X-trail,we are eying for the monty GLX non-VGT or the all-new Ranger which are both ladder frame para may alternative for the provincial rough roads na dinadaanan namin.

i can attest to the durability of the Mitsu diesels bec. I owned one. yun Mitsu strada 2nd gen, as in talaga naman pag traffic minsan inaakyat ko sa island gutter yun pag nagkabuhol-buhol na kalsada. matibay talaga ang Mitsu. the only reason why I ditched the Strada is bec. hindi pa CRDi yun. minsan pakiramdam konti lang advantage ko sa jeepney sa bagal umarangkada eh. it's a tank of a vehicle.

pero etong Montero ngaun na CRDi, napa-wow! talaga ako, ang gaan! I was blaming the high ground clearance and big tires that contributed to the sluggishness of my Strada 2nd gen. pero dito sa Montero, ang gaan! for a ladder frame, i'm impressed! yun Fortuner naman nakasakay na ako din pero parang matagtag, add to the exterior na hindi naman mukang macho and durable like Montero, mukang itlog nga eh.

the Montero has attitude sa exterior looks tapos ang gaan pa, then durable pa. tingin ko yan sobrang dami na bumili ng Montero na yan, ibebenta nila mga unit nila 5 years later not bec. of repair/maintenance problems but bec. sawang-sawa na siguro sila sa itsura nila. sobrang tibay ayaw masira, pero wow it's like an old shoe lol

kumbaga sa sapatos crocs yan eh. diba yun crocs at one time nagreklamo na in danger sila of bankruptcy coz they sold durable shoes/slippers na nawalan sila ng repeat sales sa business lol
