Go to Motor Image and ask for a test drive. They are quite friendly to customers asking for a test drive.
The Forester may look big and bulky but it handles like a compact car. Noob or experienced, most vehicles are the same.
Maintenance cost is more like Honda but with Motor Image, you can bring your own fluids and parts. They will just bill you for the service.

The CVTF change is the most painful expense for a Subie with the CVT. This happens every 40k KM actual mileage.
For the usual oil change, cost is the same as any 2.0L 4-cylinder engine which uses fully synthetic oil. You can bring your own oil and fluids to Motor Image if you don't want pay extra for their fluids.
No major part replaced yet on my Fozzie. I have yet to replace my stock brake pads but I’m looking to use Brembo OEM pads when I do change them. It is cheaper than what the casa offers. Air filter is around 1600 from the casa but you can use an aftermarket air filter.

Meron akong 2018 Vitara. Oo, makupad nga. You really have to know the Vitara in order to maximize its engine. Pati no choice ka but to use Euro 4 gasoline (at least 95 RON). Pag ordinary unleaded ginamit mo may tendency na mag cylinder knock like what happened to mine. Nawala naman after I switched to Petron Blaze 100.

Since mas mabigat na ang rush kaysa sa avanza.. medyo reduced ng kaunti ang body-roll, still, since mataas na ang wading clearance.. kung lone driver.. medyo alanganin pa rin, lalo kung wet road condition, off-set naman kung merong load, pero still.. kung emergency maneuver, lalo kung mid to high speed, kailangan na merong idea to counteract yung steering (over-steer)

Di ko pa na-maneho ito lately.. pero, testing ko rin talaga ito... para malaman ko rin ito personally..
first time ko makasalubong ng xpander sa highway diko alam kung anong variant nya. nakakagulat pag biglang tingin parang tumatakbong kabaong. bakit ganon diko gusto ung front fascia nya sa personal parang may kulang.
ung rush nman catchy talaga ung looks nya at mataas parang suv.
