mmm, my list now...

For looks dept.
1. Lancer (MX i think GT-A is much for me)
2. Honda
3. Elantra

For the 3 units above, which has a good after sales(also if possible give me an estimate)? warranty?
advantage and disadvantage. Hopefully owners can give their thoughts on the brand and / or model.
Also when will be the official release of elantra? how much would it cost?

Mitsubishi
- Wala pa ako experience sa warranty claims kasi matino naman yung mga Mitsubishi namin.
- Medyo mahal ang maintenance.

Honda
- Ok naman kausap sa warranty claiming, pero depende sa dealer.
- Maintenance cost medyo mahal din, though 6 months or 10,000kms ang PMS.

Hyundai
- Parang Honda lang din, depende sa dealer pero madali kausap ang HARI.
- I believe ito ang cheapest ang maintenance sa choices mo, you can buy parts from Seiring / Good Gear tapos casa na gagawa.

Re: Elantra. By April or May. If you can't wait, Lancer na talaga. Price range: 800K to 1.1Million.
3 variants:
- 1.6 GL 6-M/T = 800K to 900K
- 1.8 GLS 6-A/T = 900K to 1Million
- 1.8 GLS-Limited 6-A/T = 1Million to 1.1Million

Thanks for the response SG hopefully next month ok na yung pera swipe-wire kasi gagamitin namin. Yung final decision e after the test drive. Maybe dun sa kaibigan ko or family friend.
Gusto ko lang sa elantra bago sya sana ok din siya.
Yung lancer ok din in blue or white(favorite color ko).
Honda ok din kaso mag papalit na sayang naman.
Yung april to may ok lang siguro yun antayin ko ma test yung pinagpipilian kong units. Thanks po sa mga replys nyo hehehe. Thanks!

Oh, bat may Sonata sa choices.. pwede ko ata ito ipersuade papunta sa "***y" side (konting pictures lang cguro kilangan.. hehehe)

Toyota's still #1 in reliability since there are a TON of spare parts in the market while Honda is popular for the tuning crowd (spare parts is also easy to come by). Hyundai's a rapidly rising star, #3 spot in the latest car sales is nothing to scoff at. Perception-wise, Toyota suffered a huge hit after their US car recalls while Hyundai's banking on the ol' Toyota formula of value with a dash of design thrown in.

Hard choices, all are well received (well-anticipated for the Elantra). But, get the A/T. Whoever told you that A/Ts are for newbs should start getting a reality check. Porsches has PDKs, Mercs have 7-Matic, etc. Only manual tranny I'll get is that of a Porsche 911/Boxster/Cayman and a Mazda Miata. Or if you really want one, get the one with a softer clutch... kung mabigat magshift, you'd be requesting foot massages after an hour of traffic *cough* Genesis Coupe *cough*

In the EX-MX, you get the paddle shifters and rear stabilizers along other stuff. You also get carbon fiber interior trims. (in the GLS you get the ugly fake wood trim)

It really won't matter even if the FD is replaced. Have you seen the new one? Hell, you can say that the only thing they really swapped was a more straightforward "ass" In fact, you can probably haggle larger discounts after applying pressure to the agent about the incoming model.

Wow laki nga ng discount ng lancer gta....
Yung sonata po e natuwa lang ako hehehe pero di kaya ng budget. pero antayin ko parin yung elantra... para mas ma compare ko yung tatlo.
Yung gta po saka yung ASX magkamuha. Yung ASX parang tumangkad na hatch at price di masyadong nagkakalayo. Pag hyundai ang kinuha sure magiging dalawa sila pag mitsu/honda tig -isa sila. Ok lang po ba yung nasa likod ng lancer gta parang medyo malaki di kaya nakaka distract pag paatras yun?

but EX has sporty look than Civic
EX is more faster than Civic (except when VTEC just kicked in YO)
EX has COOL ICE than civic
Cool Interior
Limited colors available (except for the Rally Art Variant)

Both Cars have CVT and A/T. Am I right SG? Just Kidding

Yung gta po saka yung ASX magkamuha. Yung ASX parang tumangkad na hatch at price di masyadong nagkakalayo.

The ASX is practically a taller Lancer EX with better interior. The added price from a GTA to a ASX goes to having better materials for the dashboard, 2DIN video touchscreen headunit with GPS, nicer seats, no faux wood nor faux carbonfiber interior trims, etc.

I'm buying one. Hopefully it should be delivered by next week.

The rear wing does block a bit of vision at the back but you can see enough. BUT from my experience, it will be advisable to install back-up sensors to help you avoid scratching/bumping the rear of the Lancer EX (whichever model you get, GLS, MX,GTA). Back-up camera is nice but useless (because you can't see distance from a video screen) except for checking if there are small stuff behind your car (but the rear sensors will detect those anyway).

Actually pareho lang FC ng FD 1.8 A/T at Lancer EX 2.0 CVT. The CVT does the magic.

Mas maganda set of colors ng Lancer EX. Lahat bagay.

EX is faster even the i-VTEC of the Honda is already ON. Engine of the FD is good. But the 4B11 of the Lancer EX is better.

I had a FD 1.8S A/T before. I hate and love it. I should've bought the Lancer EX GT-A

Clear ko lang, there's no 2WD Tucson CRDi. The Tucson CRDi R-eVGT is only available in 4WD, GL and GLS-Premium variants.

Medyo may pila for the GL kasi 7 months na walang dumating, thank God last week may dumating na rin. Hindi lang ako sigurado kung mabibigyan ng unit lahat ng pumila.
