For the same money though, I'd probably get an Elantra 1.6 GL (palit rims pa rin) or Ford Fiesta Sport.

With the Lancer EX, just changing the rims to the GTA 18s can change it's overall look. And mint condition GTA wheels (no tires) sells for around P15K for a set of four.

Meron nang Lancer EX 1.6L ngayon, which will fully retire the old Cedia Lancer. Don't expect it to be much quicker than the old one though, won't be giving much better gas mileage either.

Sir ang Vios introduced 2007. Ang Lancer EX introduced 2008 lang din. Pero Lancer pa din ako.

Actually, the Lancer EX isn't all that heavy with the 1.6 engine. It's the power-to-weight ratio that's on the low side, similar to the truly heavy Focus. But then again, even if it's only got 115 HP, if it's 115 well-tuned horses, it shouldn't have a hard time. That's something paper specs can't give and only a test drive can tell.
