But just the same...there's no point comparing.

    Hehe, as always.

STi, di mo type? 2,100,000 "lang", medyo malayo sa 2 variants ng Evo na available locally. May nabasa nga lang ako na medyo downgraded, pero check mo parin just to be sure.

Cool. We've had our eye on an AWD Fusion for a while. Our local Ford has been wanting us to trade in our midsize Ford Contour for another midsize (Fusion). We'll take another look at the AWD Fusion if we have some time.

I too would go for the Evo RS. But, if over 90% of the time will be spent on crowded streets like Manila's, the Evo driver will never get that turbo spooling enough. Might as well get a people mover like the Civic. Thoroughbred cars are like horses, they need the room or the track.

Hello, I'm no expert in evos and even driving in general but here is what I know of the topgear thing:

1)The super-evo in that episode uses a gigantic turbo not found in most evos.
    2) Who races starting in 5th gear anyways?

so ayun, nasabi na pala ni IMm29. hehe...

I also heard that a lot of cars can outrace an evo in straight lines as it's not intended for drag racing.

STi at 2.1?????? wow... I thought 2.3 last I heard from an actual buyer (a guy who has porsches and an evo). hehe.... Ok rin cguro yan for the price

    Jun aka Pekto,

Iba po ang RS dito sa pinas. Euro po... so may spoilers, no recaro (had to get brides), has ABS, no radio... and other slight differences.

    Nah, he replied once...

but the question is impossible to answer. If what he wants is excitement, along with the maintenance and gas bills that go with it, then, for gosh sakes, he should just get the Evo.

If what he wants is a car that will commute every day, drink little fuel, and will require very little in terms of maintenance expenses... go for the Civic.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Well, we wouldn't get pulled over by cops as much as in the states tho hehe.... and there is some turbo time in manila traffic.... hanggang 3rd gear lang! hahaha...

seriously, there is plenty of oppurtunities to boost sa edsa or commonwealth depending on time....

turbo lag is not a problem...

Ummm... baka he is referring to a Civic Si (since 2.0L din naman yun).

But still, kahit na Type-R or Si ang itapat mo... no match pa din.

Ooops. That's true. I remember my Dad speeding from Alabang to Cubao every Sunday when we dropped off my sister at her dorm in UP Diliman.... and all he drove was a 1970 Ford Pinto.

I guess the Manila I was referring to was along Taft Ave or maybe Espana and Recto.

Sorry mga dudes/sir for no reply, get busy this day for practical shooting competion at malaysia. Im not a fancier of car, (im a gun fanatic), i am not an expert in car specification and comparison, thats why i am asking for little fedback, most of the time im driivng in highway and long provincial trip, most of the competetions are held at province (but now gun ban, d na maka sponsor politician and reelecting congressman, ha ha libre pa bala and meron pa take home), very rare drive in manila (dudes im not a manila boy), nor drive in heavy traffic conditions thats why i am considering a car like evo or civic 2 ltr.

im always seeing a honda civic car- it always speeds up in highway, the car seems fast, however in my whole life i only saw an evo, a red one, displayed in a car show, that is in my whole life, d ko nga lng mahipo even its dust.
