Urdaneta to Tarlac almost every day, sir. Admittedly, after close to five years and given the road conditions in the province, the Sedona has developed two or three squeaks and rattles, but it's still a competent vehicle. Kailangan lang talaga pag diesel TLC at strict adherence sa maintenance intervals.

Yup, Korean cars still have their share of problems, but as you follow their development, you'll see that their quality is on a (hopefully) continuous increase.

When I dispose of my wretched Sedona, I'll probably replace it with a Hyundai Accent or another diesel sedan priced at less than 1 million pesos. Lugi kasi kami sa purchase price ng vehicle given the high mileage we subject it to.

no offense to the thread starter pero medyo biased yong comparison why not compare the kia carens to its same category/same size like toyota verso...we know carens develop in europe so ihanap din natin sya ng toyota which also develop in europe like toyota verso it comes with gasoline/diesel petrol din... look the attached pics you'll be the judge kung alin ang mas cool interior/exterior even without dvd/gps navigator yong toyota verso i stlill vote for toyota...peace!

Verso is also nice but i dont't think Toyota will sell it here.

Hence, the threadstarter is comparing it to the nearest competitor, Innova (looks like a watered-down verso ) which IS available in the country.

medyo OT: will toyota bring this verso in the philippines?

as for my choice between innova and carens, carens for me. although i still like the exterior of the innova over the carens, konting-konti lang ang lamang nya. there's something very stylish in the carens' profile and rear that's quite appealing. as for the interior, hands down, carens.

    This Toyota Corolla Verso....

Well, it's made in Germany (factory is near Toyota Motorsports Europe Gmbh building) so if you want it sa Pinas, expect shipping costs to be high.

I think realistically speaking for a "world" model car, the Mazda 5 might be a better comparison for the Kia Carens. I'm guessing price for the 2.0L Mazda 5 should be a bit more than the Carens.

It seems like the 5 is already available in many of our neighboring countries, I wonder why Mazda is delaying it here.
