Our family is planning to buy a vehicle that can carry people, climb steep-ish roads and promise good fc. We ended up with these choices. What do you think is the right vehicle to buy? Please don't recommend other vehicles. Thanks!

Sportivo very reliable and tipid talaga sa diesel.

Innova. Safer car (in terms of features), updated chassis, light steering. In short, value for money.

Not as 'rugged' as either the isuzu nor the mitsubishi but there's a reason you see these everywhere.

Also read that the toyota D4D 'issues' have generally been resolved with the newer cars na.

Note: I do not/have not owned any of the mentioned cars.

can not say which one you will want but you have to consider the comfort of the ride especially the engine vibration. Adventure & Sportivo are less in engine power & torque (may consume less diesel) & for sure will give you back massage harder than the innova (sir soft or hard massage po ba ).

Innova G -> Comfortable, faster, safe.

Sportivo -> Workhorse, delivers you to point a to point b

Adventure -> Point a to Point b deliverer

I agree, lalo na kung sinasabi mo na good FC, sportivo ka na. But if you want power go for innova, more power means more fuel, pero kung family use naman at pang gamit sa araw-araw at gusto mo dalhin sa bundok gusto mo pa ng good FC then go for sportivo. IMO lang

If you want a faster crosswind. Get the XT / XTi variants. Avoid the XUV and Sportivo ... their body is just way way heavy.

AND ... DONT EVER GET THE AUTOMATIC CROSSWINDS.

Go for the Innova G, 2.5 Diesel. Opitron gauge, push-button AC controls, fuel efficient. However it would be best to test drive all vehicles.

Innova - suited for company vehicle to transport staff, need speed inorder not to be late.

Sportivo - suited for family all around transportation vehicle except speed. You don't need much speed when you are with ur family.

Adventure - all around transportation vehicle but when fully loaded, the vehicle looks like missile launcher. Maybe the rear leafspring is more soft than sportivo.

If you're reason for family use... GO FOR SPORtivo.

kung ako, isasama ko na rin ang maintenance costs. at dahil dito, out ang innova. isa pa hindi pa rin ako kumbinsido na naayos na nila yung d4d issue nila na 1/10 units may ganitong defect.

so it goes with Crosswind and Adventure for me.

if you want more ruggedness (mas macho ang arrival), go for crosswind, if you want value for money (bang for the buck), go for advie since mas mahal obviously ang crosswind at ang advie nandiyan na lahat ang kailangan mo kahit bare model na GLX lang. mas malambot nga lang ang leaf springs ng advie sa likod kaya lumulubog kapag sobrang bigat na ng sakay. take note nga lang na parehas mabagal itong xwind at advie compared sa innova crdi na may turbo. but in the long run, sabi ko sa iyo, matutuwa ka sa xwind at advie.

If it's a family car the SAFETY should always be the priority.
I'm not sure if meron silang airbags except for the Innova

If you can stretch your budget a little...why not get an Everest? (SUV, 7 seaters, with airbags and side impact beams, strong engine and di ka ipapahiya kahit saan mo dalhin....best of all bang for the buck!

if it's your time, it's your time period.

if its purely city driving, ano lang ba ang takbo dito. sa highway naman kung mabilis ang takbo mo, sakaling mabangga ka..

The price gap between the three vehicles is so huge even if two of them are top of their respective lines. Kung kaya mo bumili ng Mitsu. SS, why not buy Innova E? Halos magkapresyo sila. Kung kaya mo ng Innova G or Sportivo, why not stretch your budget a bit and get an Everest nga or Montero or Carens? Mas partial ako however sa Mitsu. and Innova. Realistic kasi ang pricing nila, di tulad ng sa Isuzu, maganda nga sana pero mahal naman.

Safety and comfort priority for the family.

Innova lang meron nito. Dual Airbag-ABS at coilspring suspension.

You dont know when youll need this features.
