Sa mga masters and owners of both Innova G and Rush G, I am planning to replace my 2011 Avanza with a better family car.

I have 3 kids, 7 y/o pa lang eldest so legroom is not an issue sa kanila as well as for me and wife.

    1. Usual route is bahay-clinic-bahay ni misis around 1-2 kms
    2. Occasionall (every 3 mos) trip to Province (Mt. Banahaw or Pangasinan ) - my current Avanza J can handle the terrain ng bundok Banahaw pero sumabit na rin minsan ilalim and had the power steering tie-rod ba yun replaced. Malalaki kasi bato sa rough road.
    3. Usual passengers would be 2 kids daily.
    4. When out of town from Banahaw kinakargahan ko ng at least 15pcs na buko and 10pcs niyog plus mga gulay.

Depends on how satisfied you are with your Avanza.

Because the Rush is basically an Avanza with a nicer body and more ground clearance.

Innova is definitely the better car. But ground clearance is about the same as the Avanza.

I love Quatro (our Avanza). FIrst time car owner ako nung kunin ko Avanza last 2011 so I got the J and wala pa kami kids nun. Now that budget can permit (nag-iipon pa actually hehehe), I am considering a more powerful MPV.

Mas poweful syempre Innova but yung ground clearance worry ko and wala ako makita review about it especially kung pwede.

Well, the 1.5 Rush should still be more powerful than your 1.3 Avanza. [emoji28]

I notice that many cabs in Baguio are Innovas. And almost all of them are somewhat lifted. I don't know what they did to achieve that, but it should be a simple and relatively low cost mod. Add to that a simple wheel and tire upgrade should do the trick.

Save your marriage, doc. I wouldn't fort either....you know what they say about beauty....not w/ this beholder. They somehow tried too hard on this current 1, too much going on out front. Perhaps it's just me....I see too much Musso-side inspiration.🤪

    Get the hybrid altis hehe

Kung rush g or innova g (or even the fort), i would go for the innova. Small(er) body from the fort, bigger engine.

Rush G kinda underpowered sabi ng friend ko.

    Agree.....The innova may have that glamour-free look....but it's like a good book.[emoji4]

    i think so, too.
the new forts have that hideous look.
i prefer the old, gen 1 looks of the innova and the fortuner.
those were ugly, but they were nice-ugly.

Anything but the Rush. Driver ergonomics are all over the place. Uncomfortable to drive. Slow too.

Small kids become big kids really fast. Innova is the smallest you can go. Bet even with that you'll run out of cargo space when they get bigger.

Even the gas-fed Innova is still better over the Rush.

You can do a 2inch lift mod with a tire upsize, probably increase clearance by an inch or so. Just get a reputable shop to do the lift para iwas pabalik balik for realignment.

Get a bash plate na rin to prevent damage on steering assembly.

Curious how a lifted Innova will look with bigger tires.
