Also something not reflected in a drag race (where both are flat out) is that a CVT will always be at its optimal powerband vs traditional AT na possible below powerband ka (less than 4k) rpm at certain speeds when you suddenly decide to gun it on the road.
But overall a traditional AT definitely feels better to drive than a CVT but for most people who just drive in the city and expressways they won't notice the difference aside from the much smoother shifts with a CVT.
