    Hi guys need ur help..

im planning to buy honda fit soon gusto ko ung unit na yan dahil kmukha xa ng jazz, tipid sa gas, maporma at of course affordable xa compare to jazz..I've seen in cebu ranging 180k to 260k ung price pasok xa sa budget ko na 200k but I'm thinking in negative side na surplus xa baka mhirap ung parts nya o mabilis xa masira at baka di din tatagal ung unit mismo. I need ur advise guys..

    right term is "converted"

The Fit and Jazz ay isang sasakyan lang. Same body, different names.

Parts mean same sila pero since surplus, conversion from right to left hand drive is a big question mark.

Si erpats dati bumili ng van na toyota tpos pinaconvery every now and then fabrication or hirap humanap ng surplus.

May 4wd fit (surplus) dito? I remember when I went to Russia a couple of years ago. First time ko nakakita ng awd fit dun at sobrang naamaze ako.

You will not have any problem with the parts since its Honda..common problems I heard is the transmission (surplus kasi) and the quality of conversion from left to right hand drive.

The biggest headache you will encounter is you can not register this in Luzon unless you have proof of custom payment. Ito ang first document na hahanapin mo.

    Goodluck..

The biggest bogey will be when the car was imported. As the SC has executed the surplus ban with finality, any car imported after Arroyo gave the order will be under scrutiny, and the LTO in Luzon might not register it.

They're still very hazy on what's going to happen to those already registered, but that's a big issue. I wouldn't risk my money on something that I can neither use nor return.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

the honda fit is the honda jazz.. different spelling lang.
as stated above, the decision not to allow grey market has already been made by the highest interpreter of the law.
every other buyer of grey market is awaiting the rules and regulations, hoping the rules will be "favorable"..
