It's much bigger so higher consumption saka may 7 seater na kami
May Jimny kami yun nga lang lifted saka naka 31" so pangit ang handling pero actually yun ang pang coding nya.
Yup free PMS in 3 years so tempting dami rin toys.
Pag stretch ko budget darami na ang choices like HRV, XV, ASX, Innova, Sportage, Tucson, etc. Saka na stretch na yang budget ko dapat Mirage, Wigo, or Celerio lang sana kaso parang di daw sya nag upgrade.

Among your choices, the Ecosport Trend AT (875k) fits your bill best.
Not the most efficient, but in heavy city traffic, most subcompacts will suffer 7-8 km/L anyway so the Ecosport isn't far off.
Ford maintenance is every 10k but isn't very cheap - prices vary among dealerships. I saved 3k per PMS by shifting from Ford Global to Ford Makati. If practicality is your priority though, the Accent is cheapest to run.
How bad is the flooding in your area anyway? (Where is your area anyway?)
Also, don't stretch your budget if you're not comfortable. In my experience, forumers will always suggest to go one step higher in your budget - it's not their money after all. Just go for the best car according to your needs that still fits your budget.

I go to Ford Manila Bay for PMS. Among FordClubPH members, it is one of the highly recommended dealerships for maintenance of their Ford cars.
Regarding forumers suggesting one step higher, dami lang talaga malakas mambuyo. hehehehe

I'd prefer the Trend MT rather than the AT. While the 1.5 AT is decent in the Fiesta, it really is insufficient for the EcoSport.
Then again, it's not my left knee that will be riding that clutch in traffic...

When buying new, the extra you spend for a higher end variant never pays off for itself in the long run. More stuff to break. More stuff to maintain... and in the end that extra 200,000 you spend will either net you +50,000 in resale value (you still lose 150k plus whatever else you lose in depreciation) or nothing... depending on the car, high end units will often sell for very close to the price of mid-range ones.

My 2.0 Mazda 3 was cheaper than similarly-aged 1.6 Mazda 3s. 😆
Despite it having all leather seats, auto climate control, auto headlamps, rain sensing wipers, moon roof, upgraded bumpers, and bigger rims compared to the 1.6. So far none of those toys have malfunctioned in the car's 12 years of existence.

Buying secondhand is obviously different.
Secondhand, that 200k premium the 2.0 R owner paid over the 1.6 V has been wiped out... and then some. Since it's a "gas guzzler" (and we know that's more due to the weight of the car than the engine... since the 1.6 wasn't all that great, either), you pay a big resale penalty when selling, so a secondhand buyer (like you) can pick it up reaaaal cheap.
