If you have 5 regular passengers + you and you have lots of thing to carry when you travel, then I would suggest to get an SUV na.
With your budget you can already have entry variants of these SUVs:
FORTUNER 4x2 G 2.5 Dsl M/T 1,330,000.00
FORTUNER 4x2 G 2.7 Gas A/T 1,343,000.00
Montero Sport 2.5 GLX 4x2 MT 1,198,000
Montero Sport 2.5 GLX 4x2 AT 1,298,000
Montero Sport 2.5 GLX V 4x2 MT 1,330,000
Hyundai Sta Fe 2.4 Petrol FL AT 4x2 (Low) 1,368,000
Kia Carens EX A/T CRDi LE Dsl 1,365,000.00
Ford Everest 2.5L AT 4x2 XLT PhP 1,440,000 (w/cash discounts)
Ford Everest 2.5L MT 4x2 XLT PhP 1,370,000
Test drive these vehicles and try to find which one suits you (it would be ideal if you test drive with full passengers so you can gauge which one will give you the most comfortable ride)

April 29th, 2012 10:29 AM #9*ts next year pa ako bibili ng suv no budget for that for now,
but if i put my self into your shoes right now, i would choose the montero glx-v 4x2 sulit na yan for your budget.
but if you could stretch it for a better suv/cuv, sa sta.fe r-evgt ka nlng dami nagrecommend sa akin nyan dito pati na sa totoong buhay, nakisakay ako last month w/a friend who owns a sta fe grabe ang bilis talaga at di matagtag unlike fortuner, alterra at everest.

You need SUV, seven seater that will serve an extra space just in case of a long vacation.
Uphill, winding & long drive!
I will bet for montero/pajero's 4WD system than an AWD capability.
AWD capability, it lets you stock first before it funtion, likewise slip first before it reacts!
see my pahabol statement above. i mean, i can go on vacation anytime. but my spouse has her...
Traffic!
