Have you also considered other slightly smaller crossover vehicles? Or do you need more cargo space?

    -Subaru XV
    -Mitsubishi ASX
    -Hyundai Tucson

^^ thanks for the recommendations..... and yeah..we need more cargo space., kasi pag nagbaksyon kame sa mga probinsya, mejo matagal, about a week or two, kaya puno lagi ng gamit yung sasakyan.

If you have 5 regular passengers + you and you have lots of thing to carry when you travel, then I would suggest to get an SUV na.
With your budget you can already have entry variants of these SUVs:

    FORTUNER 4x2 G 2.5 Dsl M/T 1,330,000.00
    FORTUNER 4x2 G 2.7 Gas A/T 1,343,000.00
    Montero Sport 2.5 GLX 4x2 MT 1,198,000
    Montero Sport 2.5 GLX 4x2 AT 1,298,000
    Montero Sport 2.5 GLX V 4x2 MT 1,330,000
Hyundai Sta Fe 2.4 Petrol FL AT 4x2 (Low) 1,368,000
Kia Carens EX A/T CRDi LE Dsl 1,365,000.00
Ford Everest 2.5L AT 4x2 XLT PhP 1,440,000 (w/cash discounts)
Ford Everest 2.5L MT 4x2 XLT PhP 1,370,000

Test drive these vehicles and try to find which one suits you (it would be ideal if you test drive with full passengers so you can gauge which one will give you the most comfortable ride)

*ts next year pa ako bibili ng suv no budget for that for now,
but if i put my self into your shoes right now, i would choose the montero glx-v 4x2 sulit na yan for your budget.
but if you could stretch it for a better suv/cuv, sa sta.fe r-evgt ka nlng dami nagrecommend sa akin nyan dito pati na sa totoong buhay, nakisakay ako last month w/a friend who owns a sta fe grabe ang bilis talaga at di matagtag unlike fortuner, alterra at everest.

You need SUV, seven seater that will serve an extra space just in case of a long vacation.

    Uphill, winding & long drive!
I will bet for montero/pajero's 4WD system than an AWD capability.

AWD capability, it lets you stock first before it funtion, likewise slip first before it reacts!

    salamat guys!

mejo humaba yung pagpipilian ko., which is fine para makapili ng maayos.. How about the subaru forester, what you guys think of that SUV? sabi nila mahirap makahanap ng mga parts ng subaru pag nasiraan..

how's the santa fe pagdating sa akyatan?

will be checking the montero and see if it fits my budget and needs..

    but keep those infos coming!

Montero sport - okay sa akyatan, diesel, maraming space. Yung ibang choices mo kulang na sa mga hinahanap mo.

The Santa Fe 2.2 R-eVGT 2WD is out of the budget. 1.558M kasi yung price nun eh.

But that's one hell of a damn CUV.

Isa lang issue ko sa Santa Fe, masyadong matulin!

    Another option: Tucson 2.0 R-eVGT 4WD

Just came from Tagaytay last weekend. My Monty had 5 adults and 2 kids, plenty of luggage, and a bike on a rear-mounted hitch receiver. The trip was pleasantly smooth and effortless. I look forward to more road trip weekends on my Monty.
