That would depend on where in the rev range and what gear you're in.

If you're talking about transmission response, the Civic's 5-speed is the fastest.

If you're talking about acceleration per se... the Mazda3, Altis and Focus are all similar... maybe differing by a tiny bit, depending on the car condition. They all have good low-rpm torque and a swelling midrange. The Altis 2.0 feels breathless at high rpms, though, and has an annoyingly low rev-limiter.

The Civic, I haven't driven one for a long time... low-rpms not as good as the others, but the mid-range and high-end of that motor are incredibly impressive. The 2.0S MT was faster than the Focus TDCi in a drag race, but they don't sell it anymore... just the 5AT.
