That's because 0-100 km/h is moot in everyday driving. It's good only for bragging rights, nothing more.

The 80-120 km/h acceleration figure is much more useful...but to be truly useful it has to be timed though the gears (on a manual-transmission car) or on kickdown (for an automatic).

How long will a car take to accelerate from 80-120 km/h in
5th gear - ?
4th gear - ?
3rd gear - ?
2nd gear - ? (if still applicable)

That's how it should be done.
