just want to revive this thread, i really like the mazda2 front end and fiesta's rear, so for mazda2 owners, what made you choose your ride over the fiesta???

November 1st, 2012 08:07 PM #147i think greatest value for this class is the new kia rio hatchback.. classy interior, push start/stop button, classy design withy even a sportage like DRL on front, fuel economy is descent enough..

I personally disagree.
For 838k, the only special feature you get is the push-start ignition. DRL is tacky and I really wish the craze for it dies down soon. Large rims are nice though, but I can live without them.
My biggest gripe is that other subcompacts in that price range offer more powerful engines. There's the Focus with a 1.6L 120 HP engine that has fairly even power distribution throughout the rev range, there's the torquey Vios/Yaris 1.5 G, as well the peaky but speedy 1.5L City and Jazz, among others.
Fuel consumption would've been the saving grace of this car with a small engine, but lo and behold, it consumes more fuel than all of the other subcompacts I mentioned above.

November 1st, 2012 11:28 PM #150kanya kanya perception lng cguro yn mga sir.. kac kun gling ka s masmalakas n kotse going down to a subcompact maramdaman agad n di kparehas ng more pwerful engines 1,6 or higer yun gastos sa enginbe lalo n ngyon asa 50s an gasolina.. If you bought a kia rio for the 1.4 expecting to save on fuel because of the small engines maybe ul be dissappointed.. 1200 a whole week mon to sat of 40km per day driving in the city is more than decent, compared to my previous 500 a day using a 2.0 vehicle.
La nmn hhanapin sa design at di nmn kulang sa porma considering yun dting tgaAUDI n ngddesign ng Kia ngyn.. bgo kac npili yun rio, it was a choice between fiesta, and jazz.. mejo mdmi nmn ngssabi n basta ford mejo mlakas and me kakilala ako me fiesta n 8-9km/L consumption nya, yun Jazz nmn mganda at syempre Honda, pero prng pngalan nlng kac ngyn since para mging comnpetitive nmn yun price mejo titipid na s feaqtures or you have a choice nlng pra sa add-ons kun afford mo..
Anyway, I think driving habbits nlng dn importante ngyn.. at kun sa price nmn yup i agree mejo mtaas pero kun loaded nmn s features at design ok n cguro..
someones are (at last!) loudly asking, "why did they turn off the countdown timers?"
