Ive been seeing XLT and Eddie Bauer. Anyone have details of the Variants of the 1998-2001 Series?

Locally, only XLT models were sold by the dealer. However there were local variations such as the LIMITED, SPORT, etc. Just detail differences. All were XLT-based.

alam ko meron nung updated look circa 2000? iba na yung headlights and grille, tama ba?

'97 iba mags sa '98-'99...stronger din ata engines nung mas bago if i'm not mistaken. my grandpa has two expeds kasi, don't remember exact year models pero WA and WL yung starting nung plate numbers...yung WL mas malakas kesa WA na model. mas updated din yung instrumentation nung mas bago. im assuming na dahil mas magaan manakbo yung mas bago eh mas matipid yun given the same displacement engine.

yung local ford phils model na lumabas dito yun na yung updated look..yung sinasabi ni al motor yung mga import yun 1st edition ng expedition at halos lahat eddie bauer may center console leather sunroof also 5.4l v8 eng etc.. kasi lahat ng local bench type ang front passenger seats at walang 5.4l na local..

so if buying a 2nd hand one, what should one look for? limited? or sport? Im assuming the Eddie Bauer 5.4L V8 is thirstier?
