The problem with the sunroof on the GLX Vit is the cover does not have enough sun protection. As pointed out by TGP on their review of the car.
May need to tint the glass to cut down on UV rays.

2018 Suzuki Vitara GLX - Behind the Wheel - YouTube

The Vitara's sunroof is different, parang lulusot pa rin yung init at ilaw dun sa cover niya kahit naka close yung cover. Hindi daw solid yung cover, manipis lang na material. Naku...

Yes, a friend has the totl. The shade material is almost paper like. He had the glass foil wrapped and it solved the heat problem. Un lang hindi na pwedeng mag gazing sa moon and stars while taking a bj. Lol!

LOL! That's really what sunroof/moonroofs are for.

I like cars with sunroofs. I open the shade cover sometimes to let natural light come in. When driving at a relaxed pace in the provincial back roads, I even open the glass roof.

However, I make sure to keep them closed when driving fast on the expressways. A small opening within the windows can produce some unwanted noise coming into the cabin, what more from turbulent air passing thru the roof at triple digit speeds.

Mostly due to quality issue or human error. With the ecosport, if you pressed the button too long after the glass hits the edge, it pops up to provide ventilation. Some forgot or missed to close it back causing water to flood the seats. Also dried up mud and leaves clogging the weather seal cause leak.

    long run?

    almost 5years na sunroof ko.

annual maintenance is required as per hyundai owners manual.

grease door hinges, hood and trunk atches, sunroof rails.

    many owners dont know maintenance.
