eco is taller and has more ground clearance. you could load taller objects in the boot of the eco as this pic illustrates

quality probably goes to the vitara. the ford is infamous for the faulty DCT transmissions. as well as having very low quality rear door actuators (premature failure), and fan resistor coils which lead to overheated engines

btw the body sheet metal on the vitara seems thinner compared to eco

Anong engine ba ng Vitara nitutukoy u?

Under the skin, the Vitara gets a range of 1.0-liter and 1.4-liter turbocharged gas engines, which replace the existing 1.6-liter gas engine. In the United Kingdom, basic SZ4 and mid-range SZ-T variants will come as standard with the 1.0-liter engine, which produces 110 horsepower (82 kilowatts), while the top-spec SZ5 model will get the larger 1.4-liter unit with 140 hp (104 kW).

yep the faulty DCT's are no more. but you still can't erase it from history. after having owned an eco for 1yr now it just feels like a low-quality car

Parang ganun din naman nangyari dati sa faulty 1st gen CVT ng Honda... Yet people bought the next generation's 5 speed conventional auto... Wonder why people are harsh against American cars pero pag Japanese madaling mapatawad...

LOL sino ba nagpatawad kay honda? actually their CVT screw-up still casts a shadow of doubt over their CVT reliability up to this day

but you have to compare the relative scale: the ford DCT fiasco is a much bigger screw-up than the honda CVT ever was just compare the numbers. considering the ecosport has only been out for like 4yrs. honda GD cvt has been out for like 15yrs now

Thanks all for your feedback seems I a.m making the right decision to get the Vitara GL+ . though I still hear stories on parts and Service concerns . But As far as a few people I talked to who own Suzuki cars (Ciaz and second hand APV) matibay naman and the parts they Need were available when they needed it.

Meh. Don't go for the GL+, go for the GLX instead.

GL+ is not value for money, it also looks bland inside and out.

The GLX, meanwhile, is feature packed for its price point.

Mag EcoSport ka na lang imbis GL+.

The Vitara with Turquoise color is nice but the black roof is a turn off. They should paint it white instead.

Ah.. Yung facelifted kase wala na yung 1.6L, pinalitan na ng 1L turbo.

So to the TS, consider mo yung facelifted Vitara as well.

Pero most likely similar figures lang yung dalawang yan.
