The reason why i bought an SUV like a monterosport is to make me capable of exploring places outside of the city. Thats my stressed reliever, you will be more stressed out if you want to try to go to Sagada with a compact car. Or just try to load your compact car in a RORO. I drove my old (sold) fortuner for 4 years and I never felt tired of driving, in fact it altered my spending habits and made me more outgoing. I also have a small car which I use for short city trips and I found it more streesing if you get stucked in a traffic with SUVs, trucks, buses towering around your car, you cant even see whats the traffic like in front of you. But with a high rise SUV, you can see much of the road ahead and give you ample time to decide which route to take. Call center agents choosed compact cars because its low cost of ownership (affordability) less expensive mods and easier to park. But that doesn't mean they didn't dreamed of owning a high end SUV. In a car wash shop, how many compact cars drivers will always try to peak inside these high end SUVs? Almost all. And how many SUV drivers will waste their time peaking inside these compact cars? Almost none.

December 15th, 2010 12:18 PM #77iba talaga perception and reasoning ni jimnyeatworld, one of a kind. Like what others say.. Metro Manila is an urban jungle. Di ba you will be relieved and will have peace of mind if your ride is capable enough to any road conditions? Which is more versatile and often, will put you in compromising situations? those compact cars or these SUVs?
OT na yata. Anyway, CRV is a cross over vehicle. Very car like handling. For the montero, this is a ladder framed vehicle designed for ruggedness.
It's a matter of choice and preference which will suit your lifestlye.

hahahha..,,TAMA, your car makes you look younger, siguro nga kung mag-isa ka lang nagddrive e mukha ka siguro walang asawa/binata, vote ako sa CRV kung pansariling gamit lang, un bang pangporma, pang-chicks, night hang-out, pero kung pang pamilya tapos nasa edad 35-40 kana pataas....mag-montero ka na lang, mukha talagang pang-tatay(no offensement sa mga naka-monty, peace tayo! sabi yung ng kaibigan ko medyo sarcastic) pero mas mukhang pantatay yung ford everest....
