SS ay Super Saloon (top of the line ng B14). Pero nung naging Exalta series na. STA na ang tawag sa top of the line (discontinued na ang SS). Lahat sila GA16 (with minor variations) ang engine.
SE is top of the line of the last of the B13's (Sentra II). Ito na yung naka-ABS and split spoke rims. GA16 din ang engine nito.
Super Touring is a B14 wearing a body kit. When the B14 had a cosmetic change (front and rear), naging GTS na ang tawag sa B14 with body kits. Still with GA16 engines.

Antayin natin sagot ng mga Nissan people or try www.nissanbayan.com .

    To add: (errh... reorganize)

    B13 series - 93-96 - multi-link rear, small body

Super Saloon - 1.6l, GA16DE (EFi) top of the line, AC, power windows, power steering, 14" mags, 4-disc ABS.
SE - midline, still with ABS
ST - sporting trim. Not sure on trim details, might be the foglight equipped bumper.
JX - no idea of trim
EX - Carb 1.4, all power, rear drum brakes.
LEC - taxi special... sold while stocks of B13 bodies lasted. 1.3l car, manual windows, rear drum brakes.
LEC PS - LEC with... power steering?

B14 - 97-99 (first series)... rear beam suspension, short tailed body

Super saloon- GA16DE, Top of the line, cloth seats, all-power, 4-disc ABS.
SE - midline, still with ABS
EX - GA14DE (EFI), all-power, still, drum brakes in the rear.
GTS - sporting trim. 1.6l, full bodykit, 15" mags, available in MT and AT. No mechanical differences. Drum brakes in the rear.
FE - GA13 (carburated), base trim, power steering, manual windows, no radio, drum brakes in the rear.

B14 - 99' facelift (not sure) - longer rear end, waterfall grille

Exalta STA - GA16DE with VTC (116hp version), full leather, CD changer, phone kit, window shades, blah blah... foglights, 14" mags, foglights, sunroof, 4-disc ABS. AT only.

Exalta SLA - same, no sunroof, lower-end CD changer. MT only.

Sentra FE - GA13 1.3l (carburated), no radio, manual windows, power steering, 13" steel wheels. Rear drum brakes. Not as much sound insulation as Exalta line, so still as light as earlier Sentras.

N16 models - 01-present, still beam suspension in the rear. All engines now QG series, all EFI.

    DS - 1.5L
GX- 1.3L efi engines (93hp ba, or 95?)
    GSX - 1.6L
Exalta Grandeur - 1.6L, fully loaded, AT only, 4-disc ABS, 6-CD changer (or VCD?), sunroof (but later models don't have this feature, I think).

TS - limited edition, 1.6L version with bodykit only.

180GT - QG18DE engine, AT only, 4-disc ABS... despite the GT moniker, think of it more as an Exalta with extra power... nothing more.

I didn't know it had that many models, according to my B13 brochures...

B13 has a parallel link strut type rear suspension.
The B13 was locally released late 1991 (brochure was printed 08/91 - 50,000 copies)
    Initial models:
    1.4 LE (P354K)
    1.4 JX (P389K)
    1.6 Super Saloon (M/T=P465K, A/T=P494K)
    * I believe the LE is the stripped down JX.

    B13 facelift:
    1.3 LEC
    1.4 JX
    1.4 EX Saloon
    1.6 Super Saloon
    1.6 SE Saloon
    * the SE Saloon is a Super Saloon with 4 wheel disc brakes with ABS.
updated model: 1.3 LEC PS (standard power steering) which overlapped with the B14 Sentra.

Let me add the B12 models (1988):
1.3 LX (sort of like an LEC)
    1.3 SLX
    1.5 SGX (extended bumpers)
    additional model: 1.5 California 5-door

    B12 facelift: (1990?)
    1.6 SGX

Binalik na rin to Sentra yung name from Exalta.

yes, tama AG4 hindi multi-link ang B13! ang multi-link suspensions lang naman talaga sa class nila ay yung itlog, pizza at cedia lancers.

series3 onwards has multi-link BEAM axles.

Thanks for the date corrections guys. So ABS was only on the SE? My mistake, both our B13 and 1st gen B14 were SE pala. Nice cars for their time, relatively robust engines, moderately fun to drive.

yes but not all since the series 2 has LEC 1.3L Carb.

all series 3 variants EX, SS, SE & ST are EFi.

series 4 and exalta look FEs still has 1.3L Carb from the LEC B13.

AFAIK, regarding diesels, the B13 lookalike AD Resort also has a 2.0 diesel. Whether multi or not, basta independent rear ang B13... the 'multi-link' beam on the B14 was just a fancy way of saying that there was an arm added to control lateral motion of the beam... something most beam suspensions have anyway.

Most have a single long lateral link (panhard rod) to control lateral motion of the beam, Nissan's uses a Scott-Russell linkage, this is made up of 2 lateral links, a long one and a short one(the short lateral link has one end conected to the axle and the other conected at the center of the longer lateral link).
This keeps the beam axle's up and down movement vertical, the conventional beam axle with a panhard rod has a slight arching motion when the suspension moves up and down.
