ah. I stand corrected
Ako pa nagsabi ng differences nung MX at GLS and all he can do si to nod...

June 5th, 2010 06:54 PM #16Interior goes to the Civic for me, with the exception of passenger space. I don't see the reason for a 2.0L Civic though. The 1.8S A/T will already do.
Exterior (if you plan to set-up your car), then you should go with the Lancer.
FC should just about be the same - both are 2.0L monsters that will probably gulp up lots of gas in the city especially with heavy traffic.
Availability of parts outside should be a bit easier for the Civic, as it's been out in the market for quite a while.
Service would depend on where you have the car serviced. Not sure about the quality of Mitsu casas, but the Honda casa's so far for us are decent.
Other alternatives:
Impreza
Focus TDCi
Altis

June 7th, 2010 10:54 AM #17Thats the trouble with some car sales executives, they lack product knowledge. They don't know what they are selling. You go to car display in a public place such as malls. What they will first do when you approach them is to hand you a price list and not talk about their product. What a stupid way to promote a product.

June 7th, 2010 11:29 AM #18Great observation! That's what our so-called automotive industry is filled with...a bunch of good-looking models who don't have any idea about cars. Ever read our media covering the auto world? They sound very much like a catalog if compared to real journalists like Clarkson and company. And ever read a local car catalog/brochure? Sounds a lot like cheesy telenovelas full of figures of speech.

Lancer EX nalang pre in EX MX form..By order naman yan eh at mayroon silang stock nyan sa planta.Mura lang ang Lancer EX GT M/T ha na malaki ang cash discounts.
Okay sana ang Civic 2 Liter S A/T pero nung nawala yung traction control at side airbags eh parang kulang na sya.
