    honda quality still sucks.

wify got a 2006 ipis-inspired honda city 1.5 a/t a few weeks back under a company car car plan. company's car fleet acquisition group checked it okay, but on the sixth week, dashboard started to produce knowing, knitting sound. very irritating when your cruising along north or south expressway (or even edsa). wify contacted immediately the salesman (who assured her that the plant had already taken care of that dashboard problem, as well as concerns similar to those long raised by psylocke, when she placed the order) confronting him of his representation. he promised to have it remedied when the car would have its 1k km check-up (by doing some insulation job). whether the problem would be remedied or not, honda quality still sucks.

admittedly, no car is perfect. but a problem or set of problems long been complained of should have been remedied na. my wify's experience, as well as those of others, may be relevant in considering honda. honda 2006 1.5 a/t has good performance with its seamless cvt operation but its long known imperfections, still not remedied, are disappointing. if you choose honda, be ready to be disappointed.
