Its a Ford and its locally backed by Ford's local network or dealers and service centers.

If Toyota released a Vios na made in China, would you include it sa list?

Same. Plus I am loyal to Toyota. Even if I wanted another brand, I'm stuck with Toyota because the casa branch I go to has excellent service

Same, I wouldnt buy a China car if there are other options available

Id have a Nissan Kicks or Honda HRV over any of those

or a Hyundai but they all look awful now

Just an observation. The people I know who bought Chinese cars, including the ever popular Ford Territory, are usually first time buyers or are not too keen with cars in general. My personal theory is that they are looking at cars like they're smartphones and not well... cars. I'm guessing it was the flashy tech and barrage of marketing that got them to bite the bullet.

I also share the same sentiments with others, I won't buy Chinese cars. But not necessarily because I hate China. Its just that I feel that these brands are quite young and are not proven yet in the Philippines.

Back on topic, i'd go for the Uni-T ..., but realistically its a toss between Territory and Coolray because of dealer network and sales.

That's why nilagyan ko lang ng OT yung answer ko baka masita ako, hehehe.
I just want to share my opinion because of what they are doing right now.
Also, may intent then yung post na parang pinopromote lang Chinese crossover car which also triggers my post hoping to sway others not to patronize them.
Common perception din yung quality which also reflect some of the posts here. So at least maiba reason for discouraging these brands.

OK sana if not specific to Chinese cars lang yung post, then at least the posts intent is not promoting chinese cars.

For now I would not buy any of these crossovers.

I've seen a lot of people driving MG ZSes. MG PH still sells the pre-facelift ZS that came out since 2016 (2018 in PH). As well as the MG5 sedan. That is a bit dated already.

I say sometimes when I saw an MG ZS on the road was "built by a state-owned chinese car company, with a British name on it."

Rather as not considering buying all Chinese cars as a whole,
Why not just not buy those that are owned by the Chinese State? (SAIC, FAW, DongFeng, Changan)
Since the reason is not respecting our sovereignty rather than the Chinese cars reliability, etc.

Personally, i don't like Chinese cars because of the lack of long term reliability and resale value.
What worries me is that These Chinese car manufacturers are switching to EV and since the Japanese, Europeans and US Electric Vehicles prices are way to high, i might be inclined to get a Chinese EV car in the future.

I am not knowledgeable enough to know on whose manufacturers are state-owned and I won't waste my time to research this stuff.
As long as they are Chinese, better to stay out of it.
I am aware that almost all products we are using are from China, but at least cars are a major one and might make a dent/impact.
