Mga Bossing ano mas OK Charade or Kia Pride? In terms of Parts Availability and Parts Price?

mas kalat parts ng pride, but mas ok charade for me.

Consideration ko kasi 1. is yung Gas Milage (mukhang pantay lang sila). 2. Is yung maintenance (sympre old car and mura).

What i noticed is that mas maporma and mas may resale value ang Charade but mukhang mas madali maintain ang CD5.

true..halos anywhere you can get parts for the pride...even performance parts...

pride owner kami,e...pero sedan lang...maganda din ang charade,mukang mas rare compare to pride-s..

Charade, hehe bias ako

sa simpleng simpleng design ng engine ng charade, kaunti lang pyesa hahaha, 6 valve. 3 piston , SOHC 3 racker arms, may thermostat, engine block, oil pump, at fuel pump, distributor, Radiator, AC system walang ka arte arte haha. wala ka masyado papalitan. Bare minimun para tumakbo ang kotse, cable type ang Clutch, at May brake booster/hydrovac para sa breaks. lol Wala power steering kaya wala masisira na power steering pump at gear.

pero seryoso, if u look at sa underchassis ng charade, wala ka masyado makita, yung rear suspension nya, basically a shock, a shock mount, coil spring, spindle, at yung lateral.

Yung sa front naman, rack end, tie rod, cv, spindle, shocks, spring at shock mount. stabilizer bar.

simplistic ang design, basically simple to maintain lang, at medyo mura din ang parts in general, body parts like Door handles etc etc ay medyo mahirap.

pero yung bare essential para tumakbo ang kotse, wala ka hirap hirap hanapin.

One thing that will make the Charade standout over sa pride is your body ng charade, wala pa ako nakita na Charade na kinain ng kalawang, or yung body nya madami kalawang.

At sa fluids, parang ang tipid, 3.5 liters langis nito, may sobra pa pag bumili ka ng galon na oil, transmission fluid, hehe 2 liters lang.

Ill go for the kia pride... yung tito ko merong kia, inayusan namin.. matipid sobra sa gasolina.. ok naman ang aircon, well maintained... nagkalat pa ang parts, hindi mahirap hanapan...

considering the availability of parts, I'd get the Kia, pero mas maganda ang tindig ng Charade

pride. at least kahit papaano hapon yan tsaka toyota ang nagmamay ari ng 51% ng daihatsu. mas mataas ang standards ng hapon kesa koreano...sa pyesa mahirap pero mas maporma naman charade ng di hamak lalo na 2 door. di pa pinag tataxi

ay sorry ngayon ko nga lang napansin nang mawala na tama sa akin hehehe...

charade medyo matagtag like most small cars dahil magaan body tsaka maigsi ang mga suspension parts nya. pero so far dapat yun tagtag tolerable. pag hindi kailangan nang palitan ng suspension parts. ganun nangyari sa akin so bago na rear shocks ko. ayun nawala yun tagtag sa likod. but personally. kung di lang talaga ogag yun KIA id rather get a bnew picantot. of course,iba pa rin ang brand new. worry free at mas efficient. but if daihatsu were to continue selling their cars here. id probably get a daihatsu again. they produce great compact cars. and the charade(2003) is probably the best oriental mini around. specially like their new cars like the copen. kaya lang ala dito eh.

if ur the practical type,by all means go for the pride from KIA. as for me,im looking for an economical practical small vehicle that can take me from points A-B. doesnt have to be super cool looking but decent enough to make heads turn(kapag nabihisan) so i got a charade instead and now suffering the consequences bec of lack of parts. all thats keeping me optimistic is how my car will look after the restoration. and thats 4 more months pa :-(

and the charade has more space inside by the way. just ike the old small body corolllas...the engine maybe 3 cylinders only but its power is better than the 4 cylinders of the KIA. plus the engine is beter engineered
