Wala na atang DCT ang Ford pati yung bagong Ecosport back to old school torque converter automatic... The Ford pickups always had automatics from the beginning. Mas marami ako naririnig na engine troube sa Ford especially yung mga turboed diesels nila sa Everest and Ranger...

The problem with Ford's turbo on the Everest and Ranger is that (on some engine models) when changing oil, new oil should be poured in WITHIN 30 minutes from draining the old oil ... otherwise the turbo will be damaged ... don't know what the engineers were thinking ...

Ford just being FORD :P Lot's of quirky designs like the central lock they literally put in the center console :P and not on the driver's side door arm rest with the window controls etc.

It's not just Ford. Center-mounted lock switches are meant to share their access w/ the passenger. I'm sure there were times you had to leave the car & had to ask the passenger to lock/unlock. Actually pretty neat.[emoji4]

Well they can unlock their own doors... Well what if you drive alone? Awkward placing you need to stretch for it VS its just very accessible near you...

I meant ease for the passenger to lock/unlock the driver side & all the other doors when the driver is outside.

HYUNDAI Asia Resources Inc. (HARI) vehicle sales dropped 27.6% in January as consumer demand fell because of the Taal Volcano ash fall and the new coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the local distributor of the South Korean carmaker said on Tuesday.

As a result, car sales in January fell to 2,046 units from 2,825 in the same month last year.

Pano ba naman kasi di na compeitive pricing nila unlike 10 years ago...

to some folks, a car is an essential.

what has significantly changed, after this pandemic?
we will still eat the same foods, need the same essentials, watch the same movies, trudge to the same salt mines...

I think more people will definitely realize the importance of having savings. What if something happens again and we're locked up for 3 months? 6 months? 1 year?

Too many people live by the skin of their teeth. YOLO masyado. And this isn't limited to the poor.

We have seen that “too many” (in every aspect) is dangerous. I hated those who buy a lot of cars because “nauutang” at ang “baba ng downpayment” naman daw. They even choose big vehicles (that eat up road space) and diesel engines (that pollutes more). Ngayon naka tengga lahat yan because of this covid-19.

lots of cars, big size tapos no parking space sa bahay (saklap).. nakabalandra na sa kalsada minsan haharang pa sa tapat ng ibang bahay.. kapag tinawag para ilipat sya pa ang galit..
wishful thinking (without thinking other factors) what if every year na yung 1 month no car for the sake of mother earth.. marami ako nakita posts malaki nabawas sa pollution..

Yes they may become huge driveway blockers as well. Violating one’s private space.

From “saving for the rainy days” to “saving for any pandemic” mentality.
