Just because most consumers buy chicken joy doesnt mean theyre not smart.

    Some like kfc too.

Most consumers are not like automotive jouranalists who have driven a majority of vehicles sold in the market.

I was cross-shopping the Ertiga last year versus the Vios and saw the insane value proposition. They refreshed it, then came the 6digit price increase, turned me off.

Suzuki and other smaller brands should realize by now, only way to move serious volume here is to undercut your competitors in price or features, or both.

Hahaha... I actually think ChickenJoy is superior. Bit oily, but KFC's quality is really hit or miss.

    -

It's sad, really, that many people don't educate themselves thoroughly before purchasing. Lot of gems out there that are not only good, but reliable, that most customers won't give the time of day.

    -

BTW, if you're missing the original ZInger (because KFC quality is so hit-or-miss), McDonald's Spicy Chicken is a very good substitute.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

    Spicy mcwings are the best...

Many buyers nowadays are women. I dont think a majority of them are auto savvy. Their tito(dr.d and kevinworld) probably says toyota or bust.

    why not?
they're both consumer products, subject to the same general "rules".

    Very similar dynamic:

There may be much tastier Fried Chickens out there than Jollibee ChickenJoy, but ChickenJoy is consistent, which is why many people buy there.

But for those of us who are adventurous and do our research, there are much better fast food deals out there waiting to be found.

LOL... in buying automobiles there are far more factors to consider than which place to buy a piece of chicken with a side of rice and gravy that costs 150.

Sa lahat ng mga usapang chicken sino ang local source among kfc, jollibee and mcdo?

Kasi pag sa ibang bansa galing chicken ang feeds ata jan soy of fishmeal kaya malansa.

    Pero pag local usually copra.

Eh niky ikaw naman paano mo mahihikayat ang filipinos consumer from toyota vios eh suzuki ertiga pinanlaban mo. Parehang jurassic 4AT at sa itsura madame nabola sa vios nung bagong labas. Pinakamaganda vios yung medyo pabilog yung likuran yung previous gen ata yun.

Dapat honda city ang binanat mo. Best of its class. Mapakina, kaha, porma, comfort walang katalo-talo.

Sa presyo ng city vs vios and ertiga and you can even name other model sa class na yan eh city ang panalo. Hindi rin nagkakalayo sa presyo.

So para mapaisip ang mga toyota vios lover eh honda city ang panapat. Kahit nga toyota corolla altis eh kaya tapatan ng honda city.

    i was considering ertiga.
until one day, i read about an owner's lament. naka-tengga yung kanya sa kasa ng dalawang buwan, dahil i-import pa daw yung piyesa.
    "balik-T" !
sometimes, it's not so much the product quality, as it is the post-purchase support.

Of course, that is a valid point.

You are not really comparing products per se but marketing strategy and positioning.

Ford pickups are doing well with their diesels in Australia and Philippines.

Im sure their eyeing that "huge" thai market...

    So much room for growth...

Toyota HiLux and Ford Ranger top November sales charts, ahead of Corolla

Grabe naman hyperbole mo sa City, sir. Kung ganun kaganda yung City, di na sana nagbenta ng Civic yung Honda. Kinukumpara mo yung City sa Altis, eh pang Vios-level lang naman yung City.

Totoo na biggest among the subcompacts yung City and offers the best interior space. It's really a good commuter car but it's not best in performance and handling in its class.
