Nabasa ko lang po Manual transmissions getting rarer in the US | Fox News
Sorry mods, OT.
No, I was only talking about the BRZ (since that is the car being asked about).
I was actually wrong. It's not 60:40 for the BRZ... it's actually 70:30 in favor of the manual in the US. I think it will be similar here, as well.
Many BMW lines don't offer manuals in the US. The Camry offers none at all. I think the Accord still offers it because it's seen as a sportier choice, especially in Coupe form.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
I remember reading somewhere recently that the AT:MT ratio in the US is 90:10 or thereabouts.
Based on LTO yung data? Ibig sabihin off by millions of vehicles ito dahil hindi pa nairerehistro ng mga casa yung mga bagong sasakyan!
Kidding. Nice collection of data and analysis!![]()
The only segment that is not Toyota dominated is the Cuv. ford is leading with the Ecosport. Toyota should bring
in the Toyota Rush to beat all markets lol
Hi,
Thank you for your data.
It helps a lot

I wonder how they defined each vehicle category.
May sarili bang definition ang Pinas or ginaya lang sa iba like US or Japan or kung anu idneclare ng manufaturer yun na yun?
Imagine the Corolla of yesteryears is as big or maybe even smaller than the Vios of today.
The cars and pick-ups are getting bigger and bigger. As this happens, do they change the classification of the vehicle or retain it.
Just curious.
Classification is arbitrary.
A Vios will always be a subcompact, a Corolla is always a compact, and a Camry is always a midsizer. What changes is the general size of the category - subcompacts today are as spacious as compacts 10 years ago.
But pansinin niyo, humahaba lang ang subcompacts but they're not even close to the width of compacts, even the older ones.

Toyota just released their 2014 sales - they've really blown the competition out of the water.

Would be interesting to have a similar one for the other brands, particularly the number 2 and number 3 in the market.

Undefeated champion ang Toyota in all 7 divisions. Wala pang nakakatalo dito. Isang division nalang ang kailangan niyang kunin para ma tinagurian siyang Greatest of All Time. Sino pa ba ang chachallenge dito? Wala na yata eh.
Dominated na nga talaga ng Toyota. Sayang lang Innova and Vios ginagawa nila dito. They could realistically put up a line for the Fortuner and Hilux here since many parts are interchangeable with the existing Innova.
