Hi, my girlfriend is on a shopping for a car. With a budget of 800-900k she'll be the one to shoulder the cost (Loan on bank).
We're not really rushing this so we want to execute this as smooth as possible.
    Priorites are the following:
    -Space
    -Decent looks on its price
    -AT
    -Features and safety

So far she is looking into this list (No MT please):
    Jazz
    City
Juke, but 980k, given the budget she really prefers this.
    Mazda 2
    Elantra
    Ecosport

You could also suggest a decent 2nd hand car. As i'm also convincing her on this.
    Thanks!

Hyundai Accent CRDi 7DCT pasok sa budget mo. Car is ridiculously fuel efficient and powerful all the same.

Kung SUV, baka pwede pag-isipan ang BRV. Base model is 900+k IIRC. I believe its the only one in its class to offer 7 seats at the moment.

Kung open sa 2nd hand, the possibilities are almost endless. Yun nga lang, dapat straight payment kundi lugi ka.

For beginners, get a small cheaper car. Ground clearance should be considered. The excess money can be used for body repairs etc. Get insurance if new driver

I agree! Btw, if you mean beginner, does that mean you will buy another car after more or less 5yrs? If its just for moving around the city, consider the small ones (picanto, wigo, spark, mirage, etc) as this is much cheaper compared to the common sedans around the city (honda, vios, etc) then once you are accustomed with driving just replace them with the ones you truly like.

Based on your criteria: the Jazz is the best. The best safety features, great space and economy, easy to drive and park and IMHO the best looks.

Yup, actually her 2nd choice is the jazz. Gusto ko nga MT kunin nya para parehas kaming masaya HAHA. Anyway, does the jazz shares the same engine with the city?

I know it's the ideal vehicle of many lady drivers. Personally though I'd still prefer something with more ground clearance.

    Ciaz!

-Space -- Check. Anluwag talaga ng loob, better than the Vios and City. Almost Altis na ata yung cabin space.
-Decent looks on its price -- Check. This is subjective, but I personally think it looks more expensive than it is.
-AT -- Check. 773k and 888k yung AT variants nila
-Features and safety -- Basic. ABD and airbags
