If you want something fun and money isn't a problem, get the Forester XT. No other CUV under 2M performs like it. Yes the Forester is bigger than your original crop of choices, but it's very easy to drive around town because the Forester offers very good visibility all around.

We have visited all the 3 dealers, and you are right, bro. Wifey now wants the Forester! Of course, napansin yung very good visibility. XT is the best but she is fine with the iP. Kaunting kwento na lang, papayag na sa XT.

Glad she liked it. The XT is really so much fun and if that's what you're after, it's worth the extra over the iP.

Don't get me wrong though, the iP isn't slow - adequate power that's as quick as most diesel PPVs with much better handling.

Go for the XT. Except for the a bit boring CVT, it's really so much fun to drive.

If you're living in areas with dense traffic conditions, expect only around 6 km/L on average. Sucat traffic is just so bad these days with all the Maynilad excavations. I do hope the upcoming coding scheme in Paranaque will help improve it. On light traffic conditions, I average around 7-8 km/L.

Finally saw the CX3 in person at Glorieta. It is really small. The interior is just like the size of the Fiesta. There are much better options at its price range.

With how the Forester XT drives, I bet you will be driving it most of the time. Mine has the bronze color. If you do bring it on a long drive for the long weekend, please be mindful of the speed when on the highway. Even when doing 2x the speed limit, it still feels stable and ever willing to go faster.

The non-turbo Foresters (2.0i-L and 2.0i-P) have the FB20 engine which is shared with XV. The Forester XT has the FA20F engine (turbo), shared with WRX and JDM Legacy. The BRZ and 86 are powered by the FA20D (non turbo).
