Let us say there are 2 cars. Same brand, model and variant. Kaso one car is driven less than 5Km per one way trip, the over car is driven 10Km or more.

Now sabay na naibenta. Alin ang pipiliin nyo? The first car na mababa ang milage or the second car na more than double ang milage.

Another 2 cars, that are exactly the same, same distance travelled every day, kaso one in Metro manila, the other sa na hindi Metro Manila. Alin ang pipiliin mo sa 2 second hand cars bag sabay na naibenta.

Sa first, I will pick the higher milage car. Sa second, iyong sa hindi Metro Manila nagamit.

For me, naabuso ang makina ng car na low milage (sa example ko) kasi, di pa masyadong umiinit ang makina and/or di pa properly lubricated ang makina ay park na kaagad.

Got my pre-owned civic as two-year old company car (makati), buhay pa rin after more than ten years use!
... now newly reconditioned but being used only for short trips and as color coding back-up, meron na kasing new generation FD na kapatid!

Same idea here. malaki nga ang difference lalo na sa price and almost brand new pa din ang condition and performance. wala ka pa monthly na binabayaran.

All the cars I've had were two years old by the time I got them. The first was a company-registered vehicle, while my current ride is a repossessed unit. Mechanically they were both very, very sound.

I insist on complete service history though. Lucked out on both

san ba okay kumuha ng 2nd hand cars? what if wala kang kilala na nagbebenta or kahit mekaniko na magchicheck ng car na bibilhin mo? and regarding pricing, pano mo malalaman na di naman overpricing? sabi 100k less lagi kada taon, is that right?

Sabi nga nila, kapag brand-new, pag-upo mo pa lang,- bawas na ang ~P100K sa value ng sasakyan...

Sa akin,- for as long as hindi modified ang sasakyan and everything else equal,- iyong may mas magandang kaha (paint finish/kinis/sariwa) ang kukunin ko after makita ko kung may bubong ang parada niya sa bahay.....

para sakin naman, if im in the second hand market, ill go for the best maintained car.. walang kwenta milage kung hindi naman regular ang tune up, change oil, etc.

baka naman low milage nga, eee basta umaandar ok na sa may ari, wag na lang.

Low mileage, well-maintained, and preferably minimal stop and go driving....
