Which is a better buy a honda Jazz or a Hyundai Getz CRDi??? FC and evrything.
Which is a better buy a honda Jazz or a Hyundai Getz CRDi??? FC and evrything.
hmmm.
space = Jazz (i love the ULT seats)
looks = Jazz
fc = i think quite even. but the getz crdi has more power/torque.
transmission = Jazz
resale = Jazz
price = Getz
value for money = Getz
parts = hmmm. slightly to the Jazz
maintenance = Getz
I like the look and style of Jazz, But I like the power and the torque of the CRDi engine.( too bad no diesel for the Jazz. And there's another thing got a tip from one of the hyundai dealers that they would be replacing their getz with i20. hope this one looks better and have a better interior and at the same cost.
Okey din ang Getz kaso malambot masyado ang suspension para sa akin. I know the Jazz rides too firm for some, but the Getz is its polar opposite.
The diesel's great, but it's not a good match for its chassis. Parang mas okey pa yung gas versions.
If money isn't a problem, I'll go for the Jazz as it's a little more refined overall than the Getz. Though the Getz's CRDi engine is just sweeeeeeet.

I would get the Jazz if the budget permits.... If you are very fuel economy conscious then go for the Getz although the Jazz is not a slouch in that department either mas lamang lang ang Getz. Pero mas may dating ang Jazz so I would go for it....
As I have posted earlier in another thread, if you have the money to burn,- then go for the Jazz (preferably CVT if you can afford it).... A real cool ride with its ULT, iDSI engine (for 1.3L variant), electric power steering and CVT....

For the Getz, the chassis doesn't quite have the bones to utilize the CRDi's power. The shocks are just too limp. I'd actually go for the Getz 1.1. I like the interior better, and the only item it doesn't have is power mirrors (and honestly, if you're the only driver... how often do you adjust your mirrors?). And the 1.1 has a tasty all black interior, while the 1.5 CRDi has cheapo chrome door handles and silver trim. Yes, cheapo chrome. I hate chrome interior handles because the chrome just doesn't stick. One or two years of use and it'll start flaking, and you can cut yourself on the edges. Ask anyone who's had a car with plastic chrome-plated handles.
The Getz 1.1 has less power than the CRDi, but better throttle response. Fuel economy is also pretty good (roughly the same as the Jazz... as long as you don't drive it hard). It's also a lot cheaper than either the Jazz or the CRDi.
If you're choosing the CRDi for driving excitement, I'd rather get an MT Jazz 1.5. Not as torquey but much better handling and great top end zing.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
resale? i think that will eventually belong to the Getz. especially with the CRDi model.
Ang hirap palang makakita ng second hand Jazz for sale! I've been scouting for a month now, pero wala, puro City or Civics lang.
The SA of Honda informed me yesterday that they have run out of stock na sa Jazz and can't produce anymore until the slated release of an All New Jazz come end of June or early July. Our Honda dealer here is Honda Bacolod City.
Our test unit was a Getz CRDi... the chrome already felt loose. I had chrome handles on the Sentra, and when those flaked, they would cut your fingers. I guess it depends on what the Chrome is plated onto... if it's chrome plated metal, it should be okay... but as often is the case in new cars, it's chrome on plastic. Chrome is affected by oils... and while we usually try our best not to drive with oily hands, we can't always assure that our passengers will wash their mitts before getting their grubby fingers all over our cars.
Sobra. I've been looking on-and-off at secondhand Jazzes for years... it's tough to find one for a good price.

Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
yup, depends upon the quality of plating. the crappy quality of the mitsubishi ironically didnt chip or flake the chrome plating of my door handles in or out.
well the jazz would be the better option. jazz has more space and mas maporma unlike getz. ok din e upgrade ang getz pero mas maganda si jazz i upgrade kasi mas malaki. and it is made by a trusted jap brand, honda. getz by hyundai. hyundai is just newly risen company. i mean matagal na sya pero ngayun lang siya lumaki. tsaka korean brand, hindi masyado trustedunlike jap
. but if you're in a budget, then go for the getz. at 600k+(i think) this is a great buy for a crdi.
but for me, jazz is really far better than getz.
Add to the point the "HOLY $***" re-sale value of the Honda Jazz (well all Honda vehicles has really good resale value but this one in particular) and I think you got a winner here.
Jazzes are just overpriced secondhand. The money some people are asking for secondhand ones will buy you a brand new one. It's ridiculous!
But Getz's don't have bad resale, either. Any car that's perceived as fuel efficient will be worth more secondhand than a "gas guzzler".
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
there were several jazz ads yesterday sa manila bulletin. usually nasa P400K and up for the earlier models....
i agree with JJCarEnthusiast!..
mas prefer ko ang jazz if the budget is no prob nga..its more elegant looking than the getz..![]()
