i take my foot off the silinyador, and i transfer it to the brake pedal and press.

Bitawan mo na yang silinyador pag nakita mong puno ang kalsada o malapit ka ng huminto.

Ugali ng maraming tsuper ang biglaang pag apak sa preno kung kailan malapit na sila sa humintong sasakyan sa kanilang harapan.

Amen to that. A sedan, hatchback, or coupe is even better. As good the braking of my Forester XT, it will not match the nimbleness of my Fiesta Ecoboost in late braking maneuvers.

This one is a golden rule specially for manual transmission.

Know your cars capability to engine brake and always make sure may space sa unahan mo...

Sample from 120 tapos binitawan mo gas, it will go down to 80 in around 10 seconds without pressing the brakes.

Do a sampling at different speeds

Yung mga EBP ba in-case of ultimate emergency, pwede ba ito gamitin to stop? even lahat ng illumination dun sa panel na disabled lahat ng ABS/EBD?

Pwede po ba natin ito i-brake ang sasakyan?

I googled this, says if you're going downhill in A/T, put the gear on D2? Question, i tried doing it kanina but the knob won't budge. Sa D lang siya, can't move it downwards even when I brake. Help? Sorry, new to this. Thanks!

Innova 2005. I tried kanina pero may sasakyan sa likod so medyo nagpanic ako. Pero ayaw nya gumalaw. Kailangan ba complete stop?

Baka nga. I could be wrong. Wala kaming innova eh. Hehe so i can't tell. You can try putting it in D2 muna before you go down slope. Might help.

i just put it on x mode and let the car do engine braking..i just let go of the gas and brake pedal

You mean Electronic Park brake button found on new cars? Like montero and civic?

No, di sya nag engage when you are rolling and you pull the EPB button, atleast for my civic.

Anyway, majority of A/T tranny's, it should go to D2 or L/d1 kahit your rolling at speed. Check your owners manual. Baka di mo lang na pindot shift lever button? Anyway, different story pa if papayagan ni TCM/ECM, etc na mag downshift...
