Braking Capabilities..

I googled this, says if you're going downhill in A/T, put the gear on D2? Question, i tried doing it kanina but the knob won't budge. Sa D lang siya, can't move it downwards even when I brake. Help? Sorry, new to this. Thanks!

i just put it on x mode and let the car do engine braking..i just let go of the gas and brake pedal
