    Hi Guys,
We're planning to buy new car (first) this year, kelan ba best month bumili yung dealers will throw their best deals. Sabi kasi ng iba December, me nababasa ako pag me lalabas na new model. Me specific month ba na naglalabas ng new models e.g Toyota?

Best time to buy if you're looking for big discounts is when the model is about to be changed. Otherwise, usually pareho lang ang discount range unless the car is a new release, is a hot item, or has limited stocks, give or take Php10K and a few freebies between dealers.

    seconded!
ask the sales people there if they have promos... for some dealers, they are secretive about these promos and don't openly advertise...
you can also skim the printed and electronic ads..

If you're not too particular about having the latest model; the best time to buy would be at the end of a model's life cycle or when the dealers are trying to get their old stocks out the door.

You'll get massive discounts and a lot of freebies.

The best time is when you have comfortable finances and when you have decided which model you are going to take.

For me, it's not worth waiting for the discounts. If you can buy now, you have enjoyed months of driving before the dealers will offer you discounts/freebies. You can't even have assurance if you can wait for a discount.

Model change would really bring on the discounts. End of the year would also have some good discounts and freebies as the dealers are trying to make their quotas.

Walang nagsabi kung kelan best time to buy

Usually new models (or next year's models) will start to arrive at dealerships around Sept/Oct months.
Those times, present year's models will have a huge discount especially if the next year's models are already facelifted or a completely redesigned car.

OR when you are asking when is the right day of the month to buy, i'd suggest during the last weeks of the month when SAs need to move units in order to meet their quota.

in addition kung mayron kang kadikit na insider working in car dearler like SA,agent etc pwede ka nilang mai-advise pag may magandang offers & discounts. That is also another best time to buy...

the best time is when these fabled discounts are being offered. it's not etched in the calendar, sir. you have to go out and actively ask them.
some dealers do not advertise these, because they believe it will be even more difficult (in the long run) to get rid of the outgoing models. not every buyer wants the older model, even if it is selling for much less.. many buyers will wait for the incoming newer model, even if it is a bit more expensive..

Thanks Dr D and kimbon. Actually worry ko kasi thru company dealer kami kukuha baka hindi ioffer yung discounts dahil alam nilang no choice kami through pwede naman sa ibang dealer un lang kami magpprocess and pagmagkaproblem kami bahala di iaassists ni company. Thanks for all your inputs :-)

^ CMIIW usually sa SRP nilalagay ang discount then saka icocompute ang DP and monthly amortization.

Actually you have to watch where they put the discount just to make sure you maximize it.

If I were you, get the company price quote, then go out and shop/canvass yourself. See if the discount is worth the hassle na ikaw ang kikilos for everything. And yes ask where the discount is going to be counted against, pero I think this is irrelevant kasi same lang naman total price sa DP man or sa base ung discount.

You can go out and shop for the car you want to get through your company then ask them to beat the company price. 2 kami nagtry nyan and the end result is that they can't. Sa amin we get a fleet discount on top of the regular discount so hirap ung outside dealer to beat the final price. Well that is my experience.

Experience ko din with the SA assigned to our company is that she is very professional and very courteous with me. Dami ako questions pero sinasagot nya lahat and feel ko inasikaso nya talaga ung purchase ko. I even get the better deal when I bought a few days before a price update was released. Binawas nalang sa accessories na binili ko, I did not ask for the additional discount, kusa nya binigay.

Pero I think the SA was an exception (Jap brand), because snob ako ng Kia and Hyundai SA assigned sa company namin, even tried to pull a fast one on me (Kia), gave me the in-house finance (low DP promos) then told me mas mura daw in-house finance nila kesa bank finance...

Usually merong fleet discount pag company. Get quotes and submit the best to HR who will then ask their usual dealer to make a better offer. That's what we do.

Well nag ask ako ng price during PIMS. One dealer nag offer ng discount sa downpayment all in even thru bank po. unfortunately, hindi sila yung authroized contact ng company namin (Accenture), ayan nilagay ko na, baka me taga ACN din dito mas mabigyan ako ng tip

BTW first car po kasi namin to, kaya eto po ang source ko nagbabasa basa

    Best time to buy?

    1. When you got the money to pay the car in full.... hirap ng me utang eh... hehehhe

    2. When your finances allowed you to pay for the downpayment and the monthly amortization will not hurt your daily lives until you paid the car in full....

    3. When you fell in love with a particular car and having an itch to caress one every time you see it.... hahahaha
