    Good Day Tsikoteers!

    Upon considering again our finances, subcompact price na lang ang kukunin namin para wag mabaon sa utang. Sure na to, pumayag na si misis. Hehehe. Pero ayaw pa rin ng 2nd hand.

    Eto considerations, and based sa nabasa ko.

    1. Fuel Efficiency ---- vios > mazda2 > city > fiesta > rio > accent
    2. Maintenance Cost ---- accent > rio > city > fiesta > mazda2 > vios
    3. Space --------------- accent > rio > city > vios > fiesta > mazda2
    4. Reliability --------- vios > city > fiesta > mazda2 > rio > accent
    5. Comfort/Driving exp - fiesta > mazda2 > city > accent > rio > vios
    6. Price --------------- city > mazda2 > fiesta > vios > rio > accent

    Practicality in me says get the vios. But I just don't like how it looks outside.

    Our top 3 choices are the Rio, City and Accent. Medyo nag-aalangan lang ako sa Rio and Accent because of the knocking issues. Though I read in the issues thread ng accent na nasolve na ito ng Euro 2 update. Do you think safe na kumuha ngayong ng accent or rio? If wala lang itong knocking issue, malamang Rio na ang pick ko...

    All AT models pala ito ah.

    Best bet will be the City.
    If you want to gamble on a bnew car, I'll get the accent.

    Bigla kasi tumahimik yung issues thread ng accent after ng Euro 2 update. So probably na fix siguro. Then meron na rin ako nabasa knocking sa Rio pero it got resolved by changing the spark plugs...

    The thing is, di ako magaling sa gamble. Lagi ako talo. Hehehe.

    Namamahalan na ako dun sa 1.5 City, bitin naman specs ng 1.3...

    If I were you, I'd place my money on the 1.3S City A/T....

    It's 5-speed A/T and dual airbags + ABS are winners.... Power is not wanting, IMO.

    Thanks... I am looking for a dealership na nag-ooffer ng test drive sa Accent at Rio... Yung Rio mukhang wala pa test drive. Eto is sa Makati Dealer. Not sure kung meron sa iba.

    Yung Honda City, nakapag test drive ako nung 1.5. Oks naman, kaso di mahataw kasi trapik nun sa Global City.

    para sa akin.

    practicality= vios
    fun= fiesta
    a little bit of both= accent

    yung city ayos naman, pero yung presyo niya parang sobrang mahal naman.

    We've had a Fiesta 1.6PS sedan for 9 months now. After logging 20,000 km with it, traveling regularly from Pangasinan to Quezon City and twice up and down Baguio, I can say I am very happy with its performance. Since I do mostly highway driving, I get around 17 km/liter. Acceleration is good, stability on the highway is great, and it really is a fun car to drive.

    We also traded an older vehicle for a new Vios 1.5G, although it's a manual. I find the Vios engine more quiet than the Fiesta's when the vehicle is idling, but it gets noisier when going 80 or 100 kph. Can't comment on mileage yet as I just passed the 1,000 km mark the other day. The back seat of the Vios is roomier than the Fiesta, although your passengers will have to fight over the single cup holder on the center console. Trunk space goes to the Fiesta. For me, either vehicle would be a good choice.

    I was also considering the Rio when I was shopping for our car, but having experienced how hard it is sometimes to get parts for our former Kia Carnival, I decided on the Vios just for the sake of having a car with ample spare parts as we usually keep our vehicles for more than 6 years.
