I went over the article too. Their vios at needs servicing. Mukhang they didn't change the fluid enough. My 6sp at is close to half mil and its holding up pretty well.

    i don't know.
it seems like they're giving the vios mt too many sakits that it does not really have.
    pms to the core, talaga.
"we will replace your parts even if it still looks like it is in very good condition, so that it will not brake down on you."

For longevity, MT. It will outlast the car. Yung AT, designed to last same as the car or less. If you plan to sell the car after x years, choose AT. If you want to keep it forever, MT. My Altis MT at 150k and 14 years without any transmission parts replaced. Minsan nasa pag gamit din. I grew up driving MT. 3 speed pa noon. Shifted to AT for comfort. Iba kasi yung feeling upon arrival at destination using MT and AT..

Even the new Elantra N, a Civic Type R rivalry from Hyundai doesn't have this fun-to-drive feature. Specially in a sports sedan.

2022 Hyundai Elantra N wants to take on Civic Type R

Unfortunately, manual fans won't be too happy as the only gearbox option is an 8-speed wet dual-clutch. Power is then sent to the front wheels with a trick e-LSD, helping minimize understeer.
    For me, DC trannys suck...

    agree ako sa comments...

if PMS (papalitan bago masira yung parts) - mas mura yung A/T
if normal person (papalitan yung part kasi sira na) - mas mura yung M/T

perhaps it is because those who espouse it, are either too few, or don't actually go out of their way to buy one.
    heh heh.

personally... ang hirap bilhin ng MT.

using the new City as an example... 40K diff between the MT and entry level CVT

pero the CVT version has a better headunit.

sobrang pagmamahal mo na lang sa MT if you decide to upgrade the small things na kailangan natin sa 2021 car.

    para bagang,
the dealers are pushing their ATs and CVTs to the costumers' noses,
and are introducing their MTs only as an afterthought...
    bakit kaya?
    heh heh.
